Went for dinner it was close to closing, wanted the brisket all gone, so I chose the ribs. I got the ribs that were cooking all day. If I would have known this is what I was getting, I would have just got sides instead. Our total order was $63. NOT PLEASED AT ALL?
Run, don’t walk, to book Mable’s for any catering event (or in our case, wedding) that you have! Or even just to head out for dinner! First off, the food is FANTASTIC. We have eaten at the restaurant or ordered delivery many times before our actual wedding, and I can say that the service is wonderful both at the restaurant and as catering. Brisket, pulled pork, and the mac and cheese are great. The team truly makes you feel as welcome as their own family. Second, Ashley is an amazing event manager and was one of my absolute favorite vendors to work with for our wedding. She was extremely prompt, extremely helpful and all-around extremely fun to work with - exactly the type of person you want on your wedding team! Our guests raved about the food and Ashley and team even packed up to-go boxes for our guests so no one went home hungry (and they were all gone by the end of the night, too!). Thank you so much to the Mable’s crew for all you do and I only wish we still lived in NYC so that we could come back and hang again!
Amazing. One of the best service, friendly and lovely. Awesome decoration, delicious food, fair price. Of course you can have more delicious smokehouses but cant find such a service and faired prices. I had the best old fashioned and the food mamma mia!!!!!!!! Go there and enjoy the life. NeXT to here you will find good beer pubs. How Lucky you are to be there… Brooklyn forever!!
Everything was amazing, the brisket is fabulous, the ribs are one of the best I ever tried, the pulled pork was delicious, the baked beans wao, also delicious chicken wings! Very recommended place, very good prices, great barbecue!!
Great wait staff, fast service, reasonable price, fantastic menu and food! Very impressive BBQ. Upon arriving, we were seated immediately for a late lunch on a holiday weekend. Our waitress was friendly and informative and although busy, never seemed to be in a rush to finish a conversation. Open kitchen format with incredible tastes and smells. Food came out fast and was beyond expectation.
I had a pulled pork sandwich with cornbread. It was delicious. Staff and atmosphere was great! Well done.
Decided on a belated birthday dinner here and everything was excellent. I’ve ordered from here in the past but have never been to the location. It’s open with bench style sitting and cute mix and match chairs.It smells AMAZINGThe menu is very much a la cart and everything on this menu is delicious. Since there were five of us we ordered plenty, ribs, brisket, pulled chicken, corn bread, collard greens, candied yams, Mac and cheese and some cocktails.My picky eaters loved everything.
Disappointed. Ribs burnt (hidden underneath). Mac n cheese looks like from the instant pack. Drinks not good. Watered mojito (had to change it to another drink). Happy hour pricing misleading and was not properly explained. Tolerated the food and drinks coz we wanted to enjoy the day. We ordered the deluxe platter. Charged extra for the fixins without informing that there was an extra charge. Did not even acknowledge that they are wrong. Even if it’s 1 cent the customer should know the charges. Did not show the receipt until asked. This establishment was flustered when a customer asked for explanation about the receipt and acted defensive. I bet most customer would just dismiss the small charge that would usually go unnoticed (esp if you are drunk to ask for the receipt). Needs improvement on customer service. Customer service sucks. Could have resolved the issue with a simple acknowledgment of their mistake. Manager/owner thinks highly of herself. Won’t be coming back and won’t definitely recommend. (Note: I was waiting for the police to come while enjoying a beer at the brewery nearby so I could tell them your violation).
Really awesome service! Beef brisket was great! And good corn bread. Frito taco appetizer is a must try!
Ok this place is absolutely amazing. Like every single thing I tasted on this photo is incredible I’m not kidding. They took longer than expected but wow was it worth it!
