My husband and I knew that we were looking for a semi-naked cake for our wedding, but we did not know just how fantastic our choice would turn out to be after selecting Luckbird as our vendor. We ordered the chocolate creme fraiche cake which was DELICIOUS! It was both beautiful and tasty, and many of our guests complimented us on serving the best wedding cake they had ever tasted!! Each cake we tried during our tasting was wonderful, but the chocolate was a definite crowd-pleaser! We cannot recommend Amy and Luckybird Bakery highly enough!!
Could not be happier with the cakes from this bakery! I am not an all cake tastes great because its sugar type of person and Luckybird did not disappoint! We ordered a 2 tiered cake for our wedding 1/2 carrot cake and 1/2 vanilla rose. Everyone loved it so much that we had none left over. When I was planning my husband's 30th birthday I knew we had to order from them again! He chose vanilla whipped cream and berry cake and it was delicious. We had to set aside a couple of slices to make sure we had some leftover (despite having 2 large cakes for 40 people--second cake round not pictured).
We hired Amy to make our wedding cake and it was absolutely incredible. Our guests are still talking about how yummy it was (which is rare for wedding cakes!)Also, the seasonal flower decorations on top are simply stunning and the cake looked as good as it tasted.We loved working with Luckybird Bakery and can't wait to pick up more cake for special occassions and anniversaries!
From the moment I tried the almond cake at my friend’s wedding, I knew I didn’t need to look any further! It was absolutely delicious, and our guests loved it! Thank you, Amy and Luckybird Bakery!

One of the most difficult decisions we made when planning our wedding was choosing the cake flavor because all the samples provided by Luckybird were absolutely delicious. We chose the pear cake and it was a huge hit. The cake was moons and delicious and the flower arrangement was beautiful. Highly recommend!
DO NOT patronize “Luckybird Bakery” of Montrose Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. They were suppose to deliver a wedding cake to my daughter Kristine’s Wedding on June 19th at 1 pm. They failed to keep their promise to do so. This was after many weeks and days of constant contact back and forth, confirming specific details, to make sure the cake would be perfect. When the cake did not arrive to the venue, Bryant Park Grill, at the pre-arranged time of 1 pm, the venue attempted to contact and call Luckybird Bakery many times without success of even getting a voicemail. I received an email at 8:44 pm (the 1st email telling me that there would be no cake delivery ) on the actual night of the wedding, as I was at the reception, telling me they were sorry but they had “ mixed up the date” in error and were asking me if they could deliver the cake the next day for an after celebration!!! Were they kidding me !?!?! So the custom made cake topper of “Mr & Mrs “ along with the engraved wedding cake knife and cake server at this point were useless. Thanks to the failure of Luckybird Bakery of Brooklyn, NY, not to follow through with adequate customer service we had no wedding cake at my daughter’s wedding. DO NOT give Luckybird Bakery of Brooklyn, NY - ANY business !!
We hired Luckybird for my client's wedding cake and it was DELICIOUS! We had the lemon cake and it was so good. They delivered the cake on time and the ordering process was so easy. Highly recommend!!
