Delicious food (a cup of Gumbo or Etouffee with half a po boy is the perfect lunch) and awesome service. The restaurant is small but has a great ambiance. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

An unexpectedly amazing place — I had Surf & Turf Po-Boy, my partner had Barbecue Shrimp. Very attentive server, great food, complimentary dessert at the end. Highly recommended! Sorry, only a photo of a dessert, we were too into our food to take photos.

The food was so delicious that we wolfed down the two po-boys (roast beef and oyster) and forgot to take their photos. The sesame rolls were soft and nutty, and there was just the right amount of meat, sauce and veggies. For other entrees we shared the gumbo and crawfish etouffee. If you like things a little creamier, go for the etouffee. Drops of that Crystal hot sauce gives all dishes a tart, vinegary heat that complements flavors. Portions can feel on the smaller side, but they pack a flavor!

Food was incredible! Service was great! Will definitely be back!

Everything was absolutely amazing.Overall rating: 5Food = soooo delicious.- I had the cup of Crawfish Etouffee & it was literally fire ? this was my first time having this dish & I’m so glad it was here.- My friend had the catfish po’boy. I tried some & the bread was so soft & catfish equally amazing.- We also had the east coast oysters which were also great. As much as I love good food, I also love the atmosphere. This is a statement… buttt the music, the vibe, the intimate setting - I was very close to forgetting that I was in NYC.Highly recommend for a date spot, friend date or even a place where you’re taking yourself out ?I loved every part of it & will definitely be back. Also, so authentic.

I had an opportunity to experience this place with some friends this week and it did not disappoint.First, it’s a small place but full of personality and ambiance. We felt welcomed as soon as we stepped in the place. The staff are super friendly.I ordered a 1/2 catfish po boy which was very good. Next time I order it I will ask for more dressing. The roll is good but very “bready” so i felt like some extra sauce would’ve been good.I also tried the salad with fried shrimp and it was delicious. It’s served as an appetizer/ small plate but it’s a nice portion. It was fresh and flavorful. It was my favorite menu item.My friend Rocky ordered the gumbo with ham and beans and a shrimp po boy. She loved it! She was visiting from Florida and wants to come back to NYC to visit this place again. My friend Geo ordered the roast beef po boy and a side of fries. He loved it. He said the roast beef as tender and juicy. I look forward to trying it on my next visit. At the end the staff Brough out a complimentary dessert. Some kind of coffee flavored pudding like dessert. Very good!I look forward to returning and trying other menu items. Thank you for a great experience! (Forgot to take pics because we were hungry and trying to catch up after not seeing each other for a long time)

You have to try everything on this menu. The oysters were phenomenal, the grilled shrimp was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the crawfish was incredibly seasoned and came with a nice amount of white rice to balance the dish. 10/10

They have the best cava, and it smells soooo good in there, you can't help but get something to eat when drinking. It is a cute but small restaurant with a NOLA based cuising, which I am a fan of! I ended up getting the gumbo and a mixed plate of fried shrimp, oyster, and catfish.

Very tasty, but kinda pricey given that the portions are on the smaller side. Make sure to order some apps or split a po boy with your mains.

We stumbled upon this place after visiting the Brooklyn Museum. As Brits we’re always looking for something you can’t readily find in the UK. This was it. Really nice restaurant with friendly staff. The gumbo was delicious and they had a great selection of beers. Perfect lunch spot. We have vowed to return on our next trip.
