Ordered this cake last minute for my daughter's 1st birthday last year. I ordered in person and the staff member that assisted me with my order was very nice and patient as we discussed the details. I've been a fan of Lord's bakery since I was a little girl myself growing up in Brooklyn. We were blown away with how gorgeous it was in real life... The cake itself was classic Lord's quality- moist and delicious!
Lords bakery has been a staple to the Flatbushian community for years. Mainly all Caribbean people I know order from here.Picked up a cake order made for my mothers coworker. Was exact what they ordered—red velvet and cream cheese icing. Cake was good and recipient enjoyed. Placed a piece in the microwave for 10 secs and it tasted better to me.
Loved my cake. So pretty and tasted so good. Everything fresh, not too sweet, and so delicious. Shout outs to Alan for his great customer service and the guy that put my silver sprinkles on and of course to whomever responsible for baking and making my cake. I was so pleased. Thank you.
Picked up cake for sons birthday. The cake was fine as expected but the customer service has plummet . Attitude from chick who look like she belong at burgerking. Very unnecessary. This place is way out of my way just came there because its been a family tradition for decades but no more!

I had the pie dough apple turnover. I also had the red velvet cupcake. Both were amazing. Not too sweet, not too rich, the icing on both was just sweet enough. The apple filling in the turnover was filled to the edge of the crust. The crust itself was a everything. The filling was sweet and tangy as it should be. All the pastries looked really good. I'm going back to try the eclairs and the various cakes and breads. If you're a red velvet fan this is the place...my goodness i want another cupcake.
