This is the best Turkish restaurant in NY. The view is marvelous. The food is amazing. The prices are a bit higher than usual Turkish restaurant. But both service and food are worth more. The cold appetizers were delicious. Spicy ezme is a must to try. The shepherd salad was perfect. The server offered us the local fish that day which was an excellent recommendation. It is not BYOB. We will definitely be back. You should call for the reservation. The table on the balcony are booked all the time, it is better to call them in advance.
Wow! I really loved the atmosphere there. Service was amazing especially the girl from Kazakhstan ( sorry can’t remember the name) who was our server, she was very friendly and professional. I enjoyed their appetizers so much. Also thanks to Gizem who reserved a nice table for me.They are the best! I will definitely go back!5 stars!!!
The food is good. The staff were polite but the management wants to nick and dime for everything. Much more expensive than similar places for similar quality. It is a tiny space, and you are surrounded by 3-4 waiters while you are eating. You feel weird while you are enjoying your meal. The waiters, I guess under pressure by the owner, never leave you alone, trying to take away your plate even if you are not fully done. Several differents waiters keep coming to your table and trying to fill up your glass even if it is almost full. If you are looking for a calm and peaceful place to dine in, never go there… We paid $250 for two people here, while we paid $90 for two people in an upscale Manhattan sushi place. Please do not get robbed?
Food is great, location is great, staff is ok, but not great, not very attentive. 4 stars are for the very dirty toilet.
Everything is always amazing. Tamara, fried calamari, grilled octopus, fishes to the steaks to the lamb dishes are just out of this world. Tamara is an amazing appetizer. The grilled octopus and fried calamari is always so tender. Shepard’s salad always in point. Seafood soup is delicious. Amazing.

Food and service are really good. But to get to the back of patio, you will need to wait regardless if you make a reservation. They let some people in without waiting in the queue though, I believe they know the owner and have been a regular customer of that restaurant. Also, I wouldn’t consider this restaurant if you want a quiet atmosphere. Too loud guests.

After reading everyone's comments, we went to eat .the portion of fresh fish, which is at least two pounds or more. The dessert is made from cheese, and the sweet and crunchy taste is very special.
Very lovely all glass dining room right on the water. Fish was very good, they will filet the fish for you right at the table. Octopus salad was excellent as long as you can get over the fact that you are eating an octopus. They had a lot of desserts under plastic wrap that they bring to the table. Had the milk pudding which was just OK but will try something else next time.
