It was our first time ordering delivery from Le Sajj, and we got three different sandwiches. Delivery was on-time, with no issues. We ordered the Le Sajj wrap, kibbeh with labneh sandwich, and the Beirut cheese steak wrap. All were very good, especially the Le Sajj wrap that comes with sujok and the Beirut cheese steak wrap which was so savory and a bit tangy and just all-around perfect. They came wrapped in a delectable thin markook bread and were well-stuffed and piping hot.The ingredients are super fresh, and the sandwich portions are generous and come with a handful of fresh fries on the side. Meat is neither old nor chewy. For $12.00 a sandwich, you can have a very good meal. Other Lebanese restaurants in the area charge the same for half the sandwich, with no freshness and no fries. Needless to say, the experience was fantastic and we would order again in a heartbeat. A but pricey but well, well worth the money for this kind of freshness. We highly recommend Le Sajj.
Beautiful place with a delicious food and well-made hookah. Make sure you ask bottle prices ahead as we were charged $50 for a bottle of one of the cheapest champagne brands.
Had lunch at the restaurant yesterday, first of all, food was over priced considering the small portions they served, they charged me sales tax, and then they charged me a non-cash adjustment. Complete rip off, then they charged me an automatic service fee gratuity of 20%. Never go there again, and will make sure all my friends and family never go there, an absolute horrible experience
Great food & great staff with an owner that is very helpful describing dishes & making recommendations to those not familiar with Lebanese cuisine. My Gents dinner group of 10 guys loved every dish.
I visit Le Sajj Constantly. It has been my favorite restaurant for the last 10 years. I traveled Almost 2 hours on the subway just for their Kibbeh Nayyeh. Ingredients are high quality, the food is exquisite, thoughtful service. When I moved to New York one of the first things I searched was where to eat the best Kibbeh Nayyeh, and after reading a bunch of reviews Le Sajj seemed to be the place, And it was! AND IT STILL IS! I love almost everything in their menu. The negative reviews are incomprehensible for me and since Ive been visiting them for 10 years now I can say many of them even sound malicious and based on false statements. If you want have authentic and delicious lebanese food or just an unforgettable gastronomic experience, visit Le Sajj. If you don't like Le Sajj, you deserve to go to those new trendy restaurants that taste just like the one on the next corner qnd taste just like all the rest. Le Sajj is a fine class of it's own. Thank you LeSajj for keeping that lost tradition of consistently delicious food at affordable prices and a friendly environment
Really enjoyed everything that we ordered!! I think the lamb chops were my favorite, very tender but well cooked. The little milk pudding on toast dessert just had little too much rose water. I will definitely return!
Food and atmosphere is good. Still there are room for improvements.
Came for lunch first time after seeing how busy they were in the evening. Nice atmosphere and good food except for one dish that was hot on the outside but somewhat cool inside. We had some trouble communicating with the waiter but the owner, a very nice guy, came over and explained everything.
Food was excellent the first time we visited for lunch. Second visit, for dinner, we could not tolerate smoke from customers who were smoking.Diners who do like smoke or enjoy good health: be warned.
The service was kinda slow, but they were really busy when we came. And the food was really good, I really recommend eating here. :) I suggest the baby lamb, marinated beef shawarma, eggplant salad, and of course you should some tabooleh (I don’t know how to spell it in English)
