In contrast to the reviews I found the food to be pretty bland, the pastries as well. Chai latte was super watery and the chocolate su*cide was like a cafeteria dessert. Quiches and crepes were underwhelming and a bit rubbery.Overall the fare was on par with stuff I’ve had at any deli: nothing special and kinda bad. The quality isn’t there especially for the price.
$11.00 for two almond croissants, didn’t taste like almond anything. Definitely was not Fresh, tasted like old bread. The staff basically placed the croissant in the bag onto the counter and walked away before I can even pay. Not so great customer service. The daily news is seriously wrong about #1 croissant.
For some reason they have a policy to refuse heating up your croissant even though it would improve it SO much. Instead I was left eating a stale, cold croissant that had no right being called "best" at anything. Underwhelming experience.
I ordered via Uber Eats from Le French Tart. It was a great experience. The food was packed tightly and neatly. The cafe au lait was a nice temperature. The croissant with salmon was stuffed with salmon (loved it). The crepe with Nutella and strawberry was amazing too.
5/5 stars for Le French Tart! If you are looking for quality international food products or a quick meal, Le French Tart is the place to go! I recommend everyone in the area to give the deli/bakery a go if you are looking for a different French style of food alongside quality service. Enjoy!
Beautiful atmosphere and delicious pastries! Always welcomed and highly recommend the croissants! Always feel like I am visiting Europe after a bite from Le French Tart!
Amazing Queches and tarts , taste of France in NYC , very recommended
Had a dismissive Cafe worker, and was charged an extra $1.00 for "Wall Food"/ up charged for a Breve. Then ,the cappuccino and Breve taste watered down with an after taste of spoiled milk. Very saddened that we will not be returning.
Really busy in the mornings so I would suggest ordering ahead and picking up. Interesting place but service is disappointing. Other times when I've visited the staff wasn't the friendliest, which is fine - early mornings are tough and I'm a grab and go sort of person. Today the cashier was plain rude and her service prompted me to write this review. When I saw her grabbing a strawberry tart instead of a multifruit one, I corrected her and she yelled back at me that was the one that she was getting. She sounded like a child. Then she hands me the tart in a bag. A bag??? For a place that prides itself in its pâtisserie, this is laughable. This completely ruins the glossy coat on the top and has everything slide over. Honestly, this is common sense. Not worth it anymore for me with this kind of service.
I ordered this for delivery and am blown away by how good it is. It’s not easy to find a true buttery flaky croissant but this hits all the marks. Get the egg on cheese on a croissant you won’t be sorry you did. Iced chai was also excellent as was the almond croissant
