Beautiful backyard (and ample indoor and front street seating), flavorful food, great wine and cocktails all with casual attentive and professional service. Dessert was delicious as well. We ordered basically the entire menu and there were zero misses. We’d come and get everything again. This restaurant delivers on all areas and is perfect for a date, dinner with the family or a friends birthday party. Does the perfect Brooklyn restaurant exist? Yea it does. It’s this place.

Yes, I know three stars? But let me preface that. I would go back a second time. Maybe even a third. It seems that there are some types of Italian cuisine that use a minimum amount of salt and pepper. Perhaps this is one of them. Honest I don't really know.So we are just a bit of the bite of salt or the heat of a touch of pepper short for that fourth star. Maybe I should have just asked. But there is a difference sprinkled on rather than cooked in.Loved the ambiance of the backyard. So I encourage you all to go.I'll be back too!

Really great Italian food. The flavors were good and quality was also good. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Some of the freshest pasta I’ve had! Can’t wait to come back for brunch to try the lasagna. The octupus, croquettes, gnocchi and truffle pasta were all highlights!

We came for appetizers and some drinks. Everything was delicious. They also have a really nice, but small, outdoor area in the back

Our dining experience at LaRina didn’t start out well. The hostess greeted us with a curt comment that we were early (5 minutes) for our reservation. It was a cold night so waiting outside of the restaurant was unpleasant.15 minutes went by there was no update from our unfriendly young lady. She seemed annoyed when we asked her to check the status of our table. After waiting for half an hour of our reservation, our table became available.Luckily our server and the sommelier were the opposite of the host. They were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. We sat in the back covered garden which was lovely. The housemade focaccias and bread were delicious. The sommelier recommended a nice bottle of 1998 Barbaresco that was complex and wonderful. We had Hamachi Crudo and Sweet Potatoes Croquettes to start. Croquettes were tasty but the crudo did not have lots of flavor. Pasta dishes were the highlight. I had agnolotti with chicken and pork. The sauce was probably braised for hours. It was intense and full of flavor. My husband had tagliolini with pork and fowl ragu that was delicious. We found LaRina on Google Map. It’s a gem. Definitely will go back and hope they will have a much friendlier person greeting us.

Tremendous lesser-known Italian restaurant in Ft. Greene. Well-priced, some unconventional pastas, with everything tremendously executed. Already looking forward to my next visit

Larina delivers delicious, authentic, comforting Italian food. The homemade pasta range from tasty to spectacular. Panna cotta is a must. Neighborhood gem!

Amazing pastas that are eclectic and interesting and extraordinarily well executed. The agnolotti deal plin is ridiculously good. So much so, we are ordered a second one for dessert. The smoked spaghetti was outstanding. The apps were solid and the wine and service delightful. I highly recommend LaRina!
