The workers are always pleasant and respectful. The food is always fresh and the store is clean. You can see into the kitchen where they are cooking and preparing and it looks very clean.
La Torre is everything that you could ask for in a neighborhood pork store! The staff is very friendly, the store looks and smells clean, and everything they sell is delicious. The meat selection is always first quality, and they always have lots of specialty items ready to cook at home, like marinated filet mignon skewers, homemade sausage patties, and all kinds of precooked delicacies ready to heat and eat. I'm a big fan of their honey chicken tenders, meatball rolls, sausage rolls, and their amazing and unusual bagel-shaped lard breads. They also make all kinds of sandwiches and heroes, both hot and cold. Of course, they carry lots of imported Italian pastas and specialty foods, too. Whatever you're going in for, bring some extra money, because you'll certainly find something wonderful and unexpected to bring home, or at least eat in the car. And don't forget to tip the boys!
