Great food! Unfortunately the indoor dining restaurant is gone and not coming back.
decent fried rice. was really good on being spicy but for $7.50 i was disappointed to see absolutely no veggies besides rice. like the one egg is a nice touch- but that's pretty cheap to throw just onion (mad cheap) and an egg in the rice. just two pieces of broccoli woulda made me happier. but there was zero. def come back for a lunch special one day.
ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC RESTAURANTS IN ALL OF BROOKLYN....AND NYC FOR THAT MATTER! AND THAT GOES FOR ANY ETHNICITY.....ALWAYS FRESH, TOP NOTCH HIGH QUALITY FOOD AND ELITE LEVEL SERVICE!!
I have no idea what they just serve me but it definitely was not food that was edible first of all it tasted like I was eating cleaning fluid Ajax or something there was literally no taste to the food but cleaning products even when you tried to smell it it smelled like cleaning products it was so disgusting I could even eat it I gave it to my dogs and even they didn’t wanna eat it
Ain't been to kum kau in 10 years , 1 of the most famous spot in Brooklyn, it use to be mad good , but I read the reviews on here and I thought it was probably trash now ,but I had it the other day ,that general tso chicken was bussin ?? , idk whose negative reviews was talking bout , this spot is a delicacy , slide over there bro ,why would u not ,shyyyyt still bussin
My husband love this place hes been going for years and travel far to get him bags of fried chicken
I have been eating at Kum Kau all my life, (I’m 42.) I live in NJ and would take the drive to Brooklyn just for the Chinese food. Sadly, the original Kum Kau is a thing of the past. The restaurant is under new ownership/management and the food is awful! Nothing is edible. Spent $100 and threw most of the food in the garbage. I wish Kum Kau would have just closed the business instead of allowing new ownership/management to tarnish their name and brand. I will never return. The original Kum Kau will be greatly missed.
Order and they make it instantly, and the food tastes delicious. I love ❤️ it.
Great food..crab legs and so much more.. fast and efficient they deliver locally check them out.. you'll be glad you did
If you had to travel to lower Manhattans China town to get the best Chinese take out , why travel that far when all you need to do is go a short distance to Kum Kau. ENJOY.
