Excellent small menu. Hamburgers basically in pitas, not buns. The cabbage will transport you. Seafood fresh and super well-prepared. But no half glasses of beer - you're either all in or all out. Go figureIf you eat too much, which is easy to do, Prospect Park is nearby
Beetini was great very different. Burgers also creative and unique. Deep fried in doh. Got to get through the menu a bit before final review. So far so good.
A cool Eastern European restaurant in Brooklyn with interior decoration that reminded me of my Europe trips! The fried burger was really special - never had anything similar before. It was however too meaty and greasy for a non-carnivore like myself though. After a couple bites I felt pretty done? I think the beet benedikt was more for my palate, not too heavy but also has that Eastern European flavor to it!
If the word "goulash" makes you think of elbow macaroni in thin red sauce, you owe it to yourself to come to Korzo and get the real thing. DEEP flavor, hearty gravy, perfect textures. The atmosphere in the place is nice too; quiet but feels like it'd be a great venue for a raucous party full of strangers. Prices are fair, service is great. I'll be back.
Not a great experience. The whole restaurant smelled like cleaning agents, and service and food were incredibly slow despite the restaurant have almost no people there. The goulash was not very good, and the grits were somehow both overly dense and had absolutely no flavor. I definitely wouldn’t go again.
Incredible food! The beetini is surprisingly amazing, and the burger is even better than expected. The chipotle mayo made it even better
There's a reason this place has won burger of the year! Delicious apps, $4 house lager pints, and amazing burgers. Meat quality so good you can order it rare. 6 people, 6 burgers, everyone happy. We went because my friend wanted to get another "donut burger" - and I'll never say no to that!
ZERO is the appropriate rating. Coming in to Brooklyn to visit family we were extremely excited to experience Korzo. That excitement was quickly erased when we arrived with our family and were greeted with a rude, cranky waitress who turned us off for good. Sorry we will never experience the Korzo magic but I refuse to give business to a place that makes me feel uncomfortable before I walk in the door. You need to earn respect, and the Korzo staff did not make the effort from the start. From the previous low reviews it seems they do not care what you think and continue to allow the rude, narcissistic red-headed draconian to greet customers with a snarl. Trust the low ratings, there are better places to spend your $$
I had such a high hope, but the burger was overcooked. I ordered medium but it was defintely medium well-done. For the place that's been voted as the best burger place on nyc they should know how to get the right doneness. The reason I still gave 4 stars is because the service was great and the appetizers were tasty.
This is a great restaurant. The food is top notch- comforting, interesting, good amount, well presented… the service is good, the beer is good (and cheap), and the space is pleasant. It’s good value too.
