Came to this place unexpectedly as we were looking for ramen near Dumbo. Got the Red Tonkatsu Ramen and the Spicy Miso Ramen. Both were delicious. Loved the ramen noodles.
Great value. Menu is inexpensive and food is tasty! Staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the pork jowl buns appetizer
Starchy noodles, icky broth, stale meat, rude unwelcoming service, and said 'you have to put a tip' at the end of my meal like who does that. If it's a waiter I always tip but this was clearly the owner/one of the owners. Do not visit.
Delicious ramen. Great prices, service is also wonderful. Get the spicy red tonkatsu and gyoza!
This place was great. Attentive staff and the Ramen was amazing. I had the Red Tonkotsu, the pork was like butter and a nice spice without blowing your head off and everyone else had vegetable or shoyu ramen. Everyone in the group raved about how good it was, even this little guy who is not particularly adventurous and he demolished the whole bowl. We (me and the wife) washed it all down with a warm sake which was also a winner.
I had the spicy Tonkotsu Ramen which was amazing! The red chilli paste hits a spot! Nice service and friendly staff! Recommended!
Went here to eat with my friend from out of town. We shared the busses sprouts which I didn’t find spectacular but decent. And I had the spicy miso soup which was very good. I left very full and satisfied. We sat in their outdoor seating on a cold night and I didn’t feel that cold. I gave four stars because I felt like service could have been more attentive.
Oh my god! The Lobster ramen was amazing! Loved the flavor. It is also reasonably priced for the amount of food and the quality of the food you get.
Altogether a 4/5 star place. Second time eating here. Takoyaki and ramen are good, though the chashu is of very poor quality. The takoyaki is impeccable, with the right amount of filling to batter ratio. Batter was fried to perfection, too, with a crisp skin. The octopus was also flavorful. For the ramen, the broth is amazing - very thick, fragrant and flavorful. The noodles are also perfectly cooked to the perfect texture. The bowl of tonkotsu ramen came with a generous helping of spring onions, bamboo shoots, half a ramen egg and chashu. This would be the perfect bowl of ramen for me, if not for the disappointing chashu, which had a rubbery texture and was lacking in flavor.Would definitely be back, but would not get the chashu again.
