My friends and I were racially profiled at this restaurant. We have always seen this restaurant and decided to stop by. We loved the selection that they had, and order our selection of what we wanted. We noticed no server came to check up on us and I couldn't even eat my salmon because no one came around us for me to ask for a fork. I was disappointed but I was just going get a to go box. We asked for the check and to go boxes, the check came in a DISCOVER checkbook presenter. I wanted to use my discover credit card (in which they state they accept) to which, I was told they don't accept. I let it go and used my debit card, after it went through and she came back with the receipt. She then proceeded to roam around our table and watched us, which I didn't understand as the payment already went through and they put an automatic tip of 18% which was 15 something dollars. Plus on top of that they didn't give us bags for our to go boxes! it seems they only want to serve a specific demographic here.
Follow me on Instagram @AbiteOUTwithJACKJalapeño Yellowtail Sashimi - Slightly below my expectations. The Yellowtail was a bit thick, and the jalapeño had no bite...TNT Truffel- Something unique, but needs a kick.Toro Tartare- A good item and fun to make at the table.Yuzu Ora King Salmon- Trying to be something, not sure what... Disappointed.Dynomite Roll- Something to try with fresh lemon juice, give it a squeeze, you'll thank me.Cucumber Roll- tiny and the rice was not so fresh.Mochi-It worked as expected.Great service!
To lazy or tired to get out of the house, I ordered lunch from KI Sushi on my day off today.I got their’s Roll special and the mushrooms soup. No surprises there. Still one of my favorite sushi place around Brooklyn Downtown. The mushrooms soup was ok though not exactly as tempting or loaded as in their picture. Their rolls are very fresh with good fish to rice ratio. The rice was balanced, it wasn’t too packed and had a good flavor.
To start enjoyed shumai, crispy tuna, and then had the shashimi/sushi combo and volcano roll.Sashimi was great, but didn’t love the sushi pieces from the combo. Has a very nice sushi bar and want to go back and try their omakase
Truly excellent service and some of the freshest and top grade fish. We shall return. The Unagi was so deep in creamy sea taste.
Really good quality sushi, definitely worth the price. The TNT roll was out of this world, like nothing I've ever tasted! The service was amazing and the server had great recommendations!
Sushi & Sashimi were good as well as the Ki Roll ,but everything else was disappointing. Duck breast, seafood dynamite and Udon were definitely not recommended, they were way too salty, you get to taste nothing but like soy sauce kinda flavor. Also the Udon they got was not real Udon, everyone knows it’s supposed to be thick and chewy….as a Japanese restaurant they should have real udon that every Japanese restaurant has. The Gyoza was deep fried, maybe it’s less work to just throw them into fryer lol but it would’ve been much better if it was pan fried. I was expecting the lychee sake got more alcohol in there, was very light but ok for girls
Great find in Brooklyn. We had a great lunch. A perfect spot to break up our day. The miso soup was excellent, as was the sushi.
Amazing sushi, tuna and sake. We enjoyed it very much. However, it is on the expensive side of places.
My wife, two boys and I went out to celebrate the end of masks in NYC schools. We ordered a bunch of apps and maki rolls. Fantastic and Pink Lady rolls were especially delicious.
