It’s pretty obvious the management is entirely absent at this KFC. I live a block away and have visited this location many many many times and every single visit has been absolutely awful. The staff can’t be bothered. The fried chicken options are always “out”. The soda machine is always out of service.The staff is so rude. They are not helpful. They have an attitude that is so uncalled for. I have never ever caused any problems when ordering food or picking up food. I always express my appreciation because I know that working in fast food is hard. Customer service is hard. They also don’t even tell you the cost of the order when you order at the register.There have been many times where they forget my sides for my meal, forget the sauce, etc.The problem is the management. Where are the managers?!? What are the managers even doing?!I feel bad for the staff. There is no motivation to do anything. In addition, there is no reward for them if they do a good job.Along with that, there are no consequences for poor service. It’s kind of a location that seems to have been built on anarchy.The overhang for the drive thru has been utterly destroyed.I hope this KFC improves.
Aside from being understaffed during dinner rush hour, the entrees available was much to be desired. The Beyond chicken nuggets were akin to hockey pucks when recieved, where a trip in the microwave rescued it from its inedible state.The cashiers was kind enough to provide my 4 piece order with all dark meat, which themselves were fast approaching jerky territory.The only saving grace was the flavor packed crust these products provided, to my guess to conceal the horrors that lurk underneath
The drive thru speaker system hasn't worked in at least 6 months...I have to drive to the window each time... there are people, on foot, waiting in line for food. The lady told me they were out of chicken... How?!Needs a better system.
Horrible service. Wanted a quick bite Wednesday evening, so I went to the drive through. Nobody answered. Sat there a few minutes then drove up to the next window. There was someone in the store that saw me but said nothing to me.I decided to go inside. As I was walking in a worker told me that the drive through was closed. It's only 7:30 by the way. Never known a drive through to close that early. I go inside and a worker with long eyelashes doesn't greet me she continues wiping the counter ignoring my presence. I asked if they were open. She said yes, but never asked to help me. I waited a minute, asked again , she said yes, then the worker that entered the restaurant when I did came to take my order.As I was paying she asked if I had .30 cents in change. I gave her .50 cents. She gave me my food and left, not giving me my change. When I called her back she said I told you I didn't have change. I asked so I don't get my change? I told her to return my quarter. She did, and I left quickly.I wasn't going to report this experience because I don't want to put anyone's job in jeopardy, but felt compelled to leave this review in the hopes that the owner of this franchise will revamp his staff and remodel the facility. It looks terrible inside and out.This experience has changed my desire to want to ever eat at a KFC ever again. I am shocked. The people of the Sunset Park community deserve a cleaner restaurant and respect from the workers they spend their hard earned money with. PLEASE do better.
I came to this place for the first time, a very bad shopping, the person in front ignored me, the shop was not busy at all, and then I waited for five minutes, I called him to come over slowly, very unhappy Looks like, and after ordering the meal, the woman put the drink cup in the bag without reminding me, and then I had to open my bag to get the drink cup, and the beverage machine had no ice cubes. Me and her She said that there were no ice cubes, she said angrily that there were no ice cubes, really this KFC can be closed. If it keeps like this, the food will be cold and will never go again
Worst kfc when i attempted the drive thru the lady asked me to come inside. I had just parked right outside not even 2min in, another car pulls to the drive thru and she take his order and when im inside trying to order she tell me that i now have to wait because there is no chicken left. Im a hispanic lady and the employee and the next person who came to the drive thru after me was the employees race. I took this as a racial preference. This is why this kfc is going out of business because of employees like this.
Employees there don't have customers service training. They don't care how long food takes and treat people awful!! The KFC on 5th ave closed and they were better! Another KFC closed by the 90s.
The chicken sandwich i ordered was ok the seasoning was great that classic KFC 13 herb and spice taste is what made KFC the success it is today . The staff seemed angry and some time a little combative with the customers I got there at 1045 maybe it was just 11 am the establishment was only opened for less than 30 minutes and the crew member that was taking the order was clearly rude and nasty with one customer because he couldn't make up his mind on the sauce whether it was the Buffalo or the sweet and spicy sauce. Wont be visiting this establishment any time soon.
The 2/3 staff were GREAT, they tried to fill orders as quickly as possible. They are GREATLY understaff. Anyone looking for a job, Please apply. More staff needed
The night shift has the worst service ever. I spent more than 15min in the drive thru and nobody said anything. They were giving out the online orders in the drive thru window and they looked at me and didnt say anything. I had to call the store and ask if they were open because nobody was working the drive thru shift. nobody was capable of telling me I had to order in the window. They need to have better customer service.
