I went here for my daughter's baptism in 2017,she is now 5 and I can tell you it's definitely not the same. The reviews are correct. You definitely have to pay before you eat. Thegirl at the front doesnt speak and she holds up a calculator to your face with the price$25.00 pp. The food was not hot at all. My daughter loves fries and never touched them.she said they were cold. Not many food options. The dessert and sushi bar was dry and scares. My sister in law wasn't even finished with her plate when the lady came and took it from her. And they watched you like a hawk when you're finished to discourage you to leave. Definitely won't return. You definitely have to go out of your own neighborhood for good service(sad).
Way better off going somewhere else or just ordering takeout somewhere else. Even though you pay before you eat, the waiters keep their eyes on you the ENTIRE time, which made it very uncomfortable to enjoy the already mediocre food. Then, even though their signs say you have two hours to dine, they try to rush you and clear your tables as quickly as possible to get you to leave, even if you've only had one plate.You'd think they'd be okay serving Black people in a majority black neighborhood, but I could feel the hostility as soon as I stepped in the door
The food is good but you have to be prepared for them to charge you with the assumption that you want soda which is not a problem for my children. I am giving it 4 stars only because my 11 year old daughter reaches the height line of an adult and they charge her adult prices.
My family and I went there for the first time in years on this past Saturday. The place was clean but I didn’t like the service. We didn’t feel welcomed and everything felt rushed as if it was crowded which it wasn’t especially on a Saturday. We didn’t really have time to sit and socialize because the waitresses were on us like white on rice. The food was ok but not a large selection like back in the day. I don’t think I would go back again.
None of the food was actually hot. Some warm. Most was cold. One of the chicken wings tasted like it came out the fridge and was placed under the warming lights once I bit into it. The seafood based food was the only decent thing. Some of the fruits were spoiled. It has a sour nasty taste. I don't think honeydew is supposed to be sour. I live 5 mins walking distance and I wont be coming back ever. Save your money and time go somewhere else.
The food was decent for me, but it gave my family the RUNS. Customer service wasn’t welcoming. They staff waited until it was crowded to assign us to use gloves to self serve. A bunch of high schoolers we’re there, LOUD and RUDE. I did see a bunch of them stealing food on the way out. First and only time going here , I will NEVER return!
Came here after a few years of not coming here. Obviously covid related. But wow this place really fell off and it’s so disappointing. This used to be my favorite eating spot. First of all they charge 24 per person now which is insane. You would think that extra money goes into renovating the place and to a good staff but no. Extremely outdated place with a below mediocre staff. Some of the food was good but definitely not worth 24 per person. Almost 100 bucks for 4 people. That is beyond insane. And the bathroom is horrendous. The garbage is piling up and spilling out. The toilet paper situation is weird and no soap…? Just hand sanitizer?? That’s so strange and so unsanitary. Don’t be deceived by the amount of people you may see. I overheard some conversations and people are definitely complaining about the prices. I know on sundays families like to come here but it’s not worth the money at all for a below mediocre experience! And people have gotten food poisoning as well. I predict this place will close down soon.
disgusting. automatic stomach pain with diarrhea. bathroom was so gross so i had to hold it in. there r cleaner and better buffets than this. food is no where close to top notch either.
I would say years ago their food was really good. The food now is cold and old and they don't have much business. If I was them, I would turn it into a Chinese restaurant and make the business smaller and probably Ret out the rest of the space. Customer service was good, like I said not a lot of business so the food is probably getting reheated or wasted.Wish them the best! This used to be a great place growing up..❤️??
Went on a Friday night for my mother’s birthday. No sign of crab legs. They close very early. No refills. Free fortune cookies. Food was sparse. Overcharged my party of 3 by almost $18. They definitely were not getting a tip after that. Just wanted to leave so we paid. Price gouging is never okay.
