Wonderful service!I came here after a bad experience at a very popular Haitian restaurant with tons of reviews and I needed a 2nd chance for good Haitian food before leaving Brooklyn and the place was wonderful.Amazing Pikliz, Griot and great juices .
The best steamed red snapper I have ever had. And I’ve dined at some of the best fine dining restaurants in NYC. The taste, the flavor the texture… and the bright smile of the chef. Have it with the mushroom rice and don’t forget to dip in to the bowl of curry that comes with it. The side salad and rice on one plate is really enough for two.
BUYER BEWARE!!!The food was decent. However, the staff was not. I placed an order, an item was missing, I called the restaurant. I don't speak Haitian creole. I tried to get the missing item and it was one big upset. They sent the driver to bring the item. I PAID for the food to be delivered to my door. He refused to bring it upstairs I tried the best way I could to explain that I couldn't come down because of young children at home and I paid for the food to be delivered to my door INCLUDING the tip. He refused. I called the restaurant back. The lady said why are you being so difficult, just go down and get the soda. I said I cannot, I have young children and I cannot leave them unattended. She started yelling. I said it's fine, please just refund me for the missing item. She yelled at me. I hung up. Horrible business etiquette.
I visited Joenise over the weekend coming from out of town, the service was by far the BEST!!! THE SOUR SOP HOMEMADE DRINK WAS EXCELLENT!!! THE LADY WHO HELPED ME WAS EXTREMELY NICE... AND THE FOOD WAS YUMMY/DELICIOUS I LOVE MY HAITIAN FOLKS MESI ANPIL FOR YOUR SERVICE I WILL BE BACK WHEN I'M IN TOWN ❤️?

I’ve been to this establishment 3 times I’ve given it the benefit of the doubt I’ve ordered all times the goat soup I was disappointed the first time and the second time the final which was the the third I told them I’ve purchased a large bowl of soup with one or two piece of meat is that the protocol or are you holding back they replied no. But when I said something and order another it was about the same thing I was truly disappointed and frustrated they truly don’t care I won’t return ever to their place again
