I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Above and beyond the BEST customer service. The cake turned out way better than expected, very elegant and delicious. It really made my MIL 60th birthday that much better. Would highly recommend!!
We loved this unique and delicious bakery located in a lively corner of PLG! Their cupcakes are so moist and flavorful (we got the pistachio and carrot cake) that we didn’t have time to take photos ! The staff is affable and made the entire experience even better ! We will be back, hungry for more
The cupcakes were great! Moist, good icing. Not too pricy. I loved the carrot cake. I will be coming back. The little older lady who helped us was very polite. She had good suggestions.
Decided to support a local business as me and friends were visiting from GA for a birthday. The owner Joel was nice and it was easy to place an order as he called me after I sent in an inquiry. The birthday cake design was also beautiful (despite the wording not being exactly how I ordered). I found it weird that he waited to bake the custom cake literally hours before pickup as I was in the area and wanted to get it an hour before time and he said it wasn't ready. With that being said you would think the cake would be at its freshest. Wrong! He advised we let it sit out for two hours, which we did. Upon cutting and tasting it, the flavor was subtle, and the cake was dense and dry. Before the day was over it had buckled at the base and it was only a 3 layer 6" cake. How?? I've never seen that happen before with such a small cake Lol! I reached out to him and let him know our concerns but no response. Luckily we had cupcakes from another venue so my friend's birthday wasn't a total bust. We paid way too much for a dry cake. Had I known, I would have flown my own cake to NY. He definitely needs to reevaluate his recipes or wrap his cakes to keep them from drying out smh!
The owner said it was not completely destroyed so I won’t receive a full refund. This was an hour after leaving the cake shop.I was told by the owner to leave the cake out an hour and half before eating I had better experiences
I had the pistachio cake and banana pudding. It was delicious. Also excellent customer service . That's why I gave it 5 stars.
I'm sure they have great cakes, but if the store is closed and they never answer their phones, how would I know.
Please be mindful that the man who works there (I believe his name is Joel) is incredibly rude. He wouldn't let me speak once, kept interrupting me while I was trying to confirm my order, and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. I recommend folks take their business elsewhere.EDIT: Unlike his response, I do not speak fast. He truly would not let me get one word out. I grew more frustrated with him because he literally would not stop interrupting me/let me get even one word out to explain what should have been a one minute phone conversation about an order confirmation. He had no reason to interrupt me as many times as he did. Had he had a little patience and let me speak, he would have understood what I was trying to convey. At no point did I verbally attack him in any way. Please refer to the other reviews that speak to his character. I maintain that I was not rude to him, but he was incredibly rude and unprofessional to me. I encourage everyone to take their business elsewhere.
THANKS Joel for making my son's 1st birthday amazing! He created a masterpiece which went above and beyond my expectations. Joel was thoughtful and courteous when I asked for suggestions on the type of flavors to get. He truly knows how to make a delosh cake! Everyone at the party enjoyed! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a beautiful and delish cake. They really aim to please their customers. Thanks again Joel!
So I reached out to them via phone to order a cake for an event I was having. He told me to send the details over through text which I did. He then told me he would get back to me with pricing and all that but never did. Even after I tried following up. Anyways I received prompt and efficient service from somewhere else and now I’m all set for my event. Thanks for nothing!
