The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is always clean. The food is most times fresh. My only problem is the dhallpuri and roti , when the business was in Church Avenue we got the real deal. I used to buy every Saturday. It was big thin and soft. There was a consistency of the quality.

This was my first time visiting.The pastries were dry.The other food lacked taste.Very disappointed.Needed some comfort, didn't get it.
Was working in the neighborhood and was looking for a delicious Caribbean lunch that didn’t break the bank, the lunch special $6 was a home run! Absolutely tasty curry chicken with rice and peas and spinach. Filled my empty belly, and gave me some the fuel I needed to keep on working, thank you Island Express
You cannot find food that tastes this good at prices this low, anywhere in NY. Very friendly staff, too. Excellent choice for pre-show snack (Kings Theatre is across the street).
I ordered 2 orders of the oxtail dish through GrubHub and it tastes great. But it literally has 2 pieces of oxtail and 2 thumb size in it and the rest is rice and channa. For 30 dollars together just wasn't worth it
This was the nastiest most TASTELESSFOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN FROM A JAMAICAN RESTAURANT. Nothing had Any Flavor fromThe plantains to the Curry Chicken to the Roti! Just Bland and tasteless !!!
Fantastic food and value. My only disappointment is that the curry goat doesn’t show up on the Seamless menu, but its still some of the best Caribbean food in our city
Neighborhood gem!! If you are in Brooklyn you must stop by and try the mouth watering cuisine from this place! I went to a concert at Kings Theater and my friends and I were starving! Luckily we found this place! They have everything from oxtail and jerk chicken to curry and roti…not to mention their delectable pastries and bread. The staff was also very polite and accommodating! Fast and friendly service! Can’t wait to try this place again!
Extremely tasty food and kind staff. We went late Saturday afternoon and they were out of a few things. Need to go back earlier next time. We had the curry chicken, goat and some patties and they were all 10/10!
