DONT GET RIPPED OFFORDERED 2 burgers (shark burger & salmon burger) over the phone around 9pm. VERIFIED the order could be completed because the Place closes at 10.My friend gets the order by 9:35.When he arrives, the worker then tells him one of the burgers can’t be made and If he STILL wants the other burger. He says yes.I open the bag when he gets back & its just two orders of soggy , cold sweet potato fries.I don’t try to write bad reviews, YOU JUST DO BAD BUSINESSI don’t understand why I was put on hold & then told YES the order could be completed to be treated this way. I’m appalled.What could have been done:- Call ME back- Actually making the salmon burger that was paid forI’d have much rather it be shared that nothing could be made & gone somewhere that was open.I’d have come back another time. I asked multiple times if it was ok. Why steal peoples money because you can’t just say no?My friend recommended this place and it was my first time and instead of gaining a possible customer, you lost 4 + anyone reading this.Sorry not sorry.
I love Island Burger.. one of the best quick bite Trini options in Brooklyn. There’s really no other like it around. Their chicken salad is good and also their fried chicken strips with steak fries. I usually top off my orders with either their delicious garlic sauce or tamarind sauce. You can get up to 4 sauce containers on the side, either all the same flavor or their other different flavors. I definitely would recommend and would order again. I wish they had buss up shut roti.
Food was terrible..soggy burgers...unidentifiable turkey burger...salmon burger tasted like chuck light tuna the cheapest one ..very salty ..more like a large tuna paste. Crazy...garlic sauce watered down..everything was terrible...this place use to be about something when they first opened up...now its like...no one cares how and what is served..sad!...im good on IB?
Sadly it isn't the same, fish and chips were better when it was on Snyder and Utica. I tried it several times to make sure I wasn't bugging because I want to support black owned businesses, and I am not. Other friends and family say it's not the same as well. I used to be excited for the food, now it's just ok.

I ordered a grilled chicken burger and a salmon burger. You’re probably asking…where’s the chicken? Exactly! There was so much bread and very little chicken. As for the salmon burger .. very salty! The fries was good though.
Only reason it's getting 2 star is because I had to eat a raw hamburger from them, they never asked me how I want the burger done. So just be aware of that. Please start asking how people want their burgers done.
Island burger fall of real bad I order shrimp and fries to only get 9 shrimp little shrimp it was supposed to be grill shrimp there was nothing grill with that 9 shrimp they give me . My daughter plate had 16 shrimp and when I called them on it the girl said only 10 shrimp they give . No my money ever again.
I must say the fried shrimp was so spectacular that I absolutely NEEDED more! I finished eating hours ago and I'm still dreaming about the next time I'm going to order it. The food also arrived surprisingly fast which is always a plus. We asked for extra garlic sauce for delivery and let me tell you they did not disappoint. The garlic sauce and shrimp combo was delish! If i could order a Shrimp ONLY option just a full tray of perfectly fried shrimp, that would be great! ::licks lips::All in all don't even think twice about ordering from here.
I usually order from the one on nostrand but decided to order food from them and got really sick .the fries were hard and oily as if they had been sitting in old oil for too many hours .I was so disappointed.I will stick to the one on no stand .
