Great fresh sushi creative and impecable presentation super clean place friendly staff and chef, who came to the table to make sure we were enjoying the selection
Worst sushi meal I ever had. So much so to write this review really says something. For I RARELY even bother doing. The fish to rice ratio was waaayy off. Pound of rice to an gram of tuna. And the crunchy I asked for they literally smothered the bejesus out of. Yea never again
We were looking for dinner in Brooklyn with our teenage kids and picked this one since it was close to subway stop and on the way to the bridge. Found it on Trip Advisor, and so glad we tried it! Everyone loved their meals and we even ordered seconds of a couple items. Gyoza and monkey rolls were favorites at our table. Service was very friendly and fast, and prices were reasonable. The plates were beautifully created, like works of art! While in NYC for a few nights, we loved this break from Italian and pizza, and will definitely be back!
This is the best, most extensive menu of delicious Japanese foods- sushi, sashimi, rolls, teriyaki, ramen or udon noodles. Seriously, the menu has a table of contents. And it's all high quality ingredients. They have lobster, and Chilean Sea Bass on top of the usual tuna, salmon, eel and spicy stuff.Our server was spectacular! Friendly and genuinely excited about the menu and restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell regulars have been coming to this place for decades. Enjoy!!!
Disgusting sushi… they uses the bloody dark meat from tuna … yaksoba ultra plain no taste at all!! … a soup who looks like a water from when i wash my dog after a dirty day in the park … for real! Be carefull! Sushi need be made with care! And not with scraps!!For the Restaurant! If you can’t buy a fresh good fish to sell for the safety of peoples healthy! Then better dont do!

Was visiting from the Bay Area and the server was amazing!! I forgot him name. We’re not used to the cold weather so my son was having a hard time being comfortable but as soon as we got to the restaurant he had a smile on his face the entire time thanks to the server. Food was great by the way
Placed an order, went there, they were surprised that I placed an order (?) and then proceeded to hand me the smallest thing in a paper lunch bag. Not enough to even feed a child. I ordered a meal, not a snack. Wasted my time going there and back. Never coming again.
I fell very sorry for this place, I liked that place, but today it became nightmare- no service at all. It looks like huge mess - the door was open in such cold weather, hot water -problem, cups - problem. So if you want to spoil your evening visit Iron chef.
