Very nice idea, but I had some issues.First the smell was strongly of raw pork, so while you are ordering and waiting that’s an unfortunate circumstance. Then, when I got my food my soft boiled egg wasn’t with it. I asked for assistance so they gave me the egg separately. The issue is the egg still had the shell on it so I had to peel it myself, and it was very chilled so it brought the temperature of my entire ramen down a lot.Lastly, the ramen was largely lacking in flavor. I asked for less spice but more oil and garlic and medium salt, so I don’t think my alterations caused it, but it was still bland.I really liked the concept of this place but it was expensive for not so good food. Maybe it was just busy but some of these things were definitely not due to that.
It's not my favourite ramen in the city, especially at this price, it's like $20 for a base ramen with meat, but then costs more for things like a boiled egg (which you have to peel yourself). It's worth noting that gratuity is included in the prices, so while I find it expensive, it's not as bad as it might look.I don't think I'll be back, just not my favourite ramen in the city.
Expensive af but if you're a ramen person that doesn't matter. Always a great bowl! FYI they have make at home kits for way cheaper and they taste just as good!
I've been to a the Fukuoka location in Japan. This outpost will certainly fill your craving for Tonkotsu Ramen. Is it as good as the original, not in my opinion. But again m, it's a serviceable replacement. Seems like a line here is the norm, when we showed up our party of 5 was about the 10th group in line, we only waited about half an hour before being seated. Some differences from the Japanese version are, no prepaid vending machine, no pressure plated seats, no water in your cubby, and for some reason the ramen comes in a square box instead of a round bowl. The ramen card is similar, it allows you to choose things like the richness of the broth(go rich or go home), the doneness of your noodles, salt content, add ons, and spice level. The broth was good but was just not as rich or flavorful as the version I had in Japan. The service was great and my young children enjoyed the ramen almost as much as we did
I love this place! They update the menu with good explanation in English and Chinese, which is super friendly. I recommend the matcha pudding because it is yummy!!! All the servers are nice and patient. I usually choose firm noodles with medium Dashi soup.
The ramen is mouthwatering! I’d definitely come back again. Remember to create an account before you pay to collect points!
Ah sooooo good! Absolutely loved it. Experience, location, food and service! Everything was so delicious! Definitely get the dessert because man does the texture and taste totally satisfy you after a delicious spicy Ramen. ?
First time to try. Staff were helpful and explained how ordering system works How to ring the bell for dessert. It’s a good experience except that diners were talking, as I understand from the ichiran concept it’s quietly experiencing your meal solo hence the booths, anyway maybe in Japan, hehe, all in all it was fun, circled in their suggestions, I’ll try less salt next time but the broth was flavorful enough and not really salty, the meat and noodles were really good and the green tea dessert.
Wait staff is great but the host was quite nonchalant and flustered about how to manage waiting customers.
Highly recommend for those love ramen. The menus are simple and easy to understand. There only one soup base but you can choose the spicy and saltiness. There are few simple ingredients you can add and of course they also have recommended combination to make it simple. I would recommend saving some sides for your added ramen. With that's said yes you can add ramen too. They have five different softness of ramen you can choose from. But they won't be able to add soup so make sure don't drink it all until you know you will not add anymore ramen. There's also various drinks on the menu but only one dessert that's the pudding. It's very fresh and light dessert. For the extra ramen and dessert all you have to do is press the service call button then place mini tray on the button too. There's wifi at the restaurant. What I like is individually seating with privacy but also retractable divider for social group. The only thing I didn't find was parking so might have to look around the area a little to find parking.
