Noticed something different the last time I picked up food and today. And it makes sense... no more Josh!! Different ownership. Different chef/staff.Been a returning customer of Holy Pita for quite sometime now, and NEVER have we had a meal that was just okay or unsatisfying. But as of the last time and today's meal, not sure I'm going back there anytime soon, definitely not in any rush...Last time the rice was super salty and watery and the chicken had a weird smell to it, so ended up throwing away most of it, $21 lunch!!Today's meal, falafel's overly salty!! And the sandwich my partner had was the messiest it has ever been. He even asked if the chef changed etc, so I confirmed diff chef and new ownership.Another unenjoyable salty expensive lunch...I hope Holy Pita can come back around to what it use to be quality wise! A bit pricey but used definitely be worth the treat.

Best falafel in Brooklyn! Everything is fresh and delicious! Josh the manager is kind and service is fast! Also they have an outdoor seated area perfect for sunny day. Highly recommend place to eat at !

Four stars for the food, minus one star for the price. $16 for a chicken shawarma sandwich and $7 for fries with a light sprinkle of spice is ridiculous. For those prices it had better be the best pita sandwich and fries I’ve ever had, and it was not.

Food is good... but try ordering a delivery...Sharma chicken pita and fries is $23.Not the best deal... but they add on a $8 fee for delivery and then they want a minimum of $5 tip... so $35 for a chicken pita and fries to be delivered 3 minutes away??? Insane... I can't leave my work location to go pick it up... so I have to skip this place... they blame it on the owners being greedy

first time here. spent $17 on a hummus eggplant plate. tastes pretty good about a 7/10. but really small portion/bad value (see pic). also i appreciate we’re getting to the end of the pandemic hopefully but kinda sketchy that none of the staff preparing food were wearing masks or gloves. just started working nearby but probably won’t return again even though other items on menu maybe are a better value and flavor. although based on the $11 falafel wrap seems unlikely.

The food is delicious you can see in the picture 5 star

I’m giving four stars. It should be less because of the micro-managing, extremely sassy owners attitude but the food was really that good and the only reason why I went in there was to get food. Sir, if I want to wear a mask in your restaurant you don’t have to tell me that I should take my stupid mask off. You were eating at the cash register and berating your cook for wrapping the pita the “wrong” way all while arguing with your distributor and making him feel uncomfortable. I’m certain most people only order to-go from here and don’t have many interactions with this fella.maybe he was having a bad day but I have seen other reviews sharing the same experiences. Sir you need to take long deep look in yourself and how you carry yourself around others, your toxicity will be your downfall. You have maybe the best falafel I’ve ever had in NYC and I’ve been to well over 50 places. It’s easily top three, along with incredibly fresh ingredients to pair with the delicious falafel. And when you order the spicy sauce it was perfectly spicy. I def plan on going back because I don’t believe that my experience was a reason to not go back, some people have more stress than others I get that. You’ve made it this far, the quality of your food is top notch and I’m writing this review in hopes that just a small tweak in your attitude can change this review into a 5. It won’t be hard.

I love this place and its cranky pants owner. The chicken shawarma sandwich is delicious and I love the fried cigars. They have beers. They used to have a soda machine but it disappeared. I went here through all of covid and he let me sit inside thank god. The food here is seriously good. It’s located kind of in a no-man’s-land block, but it’s worth the walk. And after eating, you can walk to wegman’s down the road. When the weather is nice this place also has some of the best outside seating around, in an awesome courtyard. I told him he should host movie nights in the space. It would be cool. Anyway, go go gadget legs to this place!!!

Delicious food, affordable and its a comfy spot. Everyone is super friendly!

I think everyone would agree that they have the best falafel pita ever! Great outdoor space and delish food.
