Cute tiny restaurant serving delicious food! Highly recommend the pork chop and pho (delicious light broth). Beautiful presentation and affordable!
Authentic & delicious! The vermicelli dishes are perfect for a hot summer day.
A decent place to get Vietnamese food. We ordered fried chicken over rice and thought it was good but not quite authentic comparing to the same dish we had in Vietnam.
The restaurant was very casual with small choices of menu. the food was good with decent portion size. Staffs were so friendly and attentive.
Best Pho in New York! The broth has rich flavors and unique taste in my opinion! Have to try!And passion fruit fired chicken is also delicious! The sour and sweet taste is so good!
Outstanding service and excellent food. I haven’t had a Vietnamese meal this carefully prepared and served in recent memory. This is my favorite cuisine and the best that I have had. I will be back whenever I can be.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant last weekend. We ate outside because of COVID, and the employees were extremely accommodating even though we were the only ones outside. All of the food was incredibly delicious (fried passionfruit wings, beef pho, quang nam chicken noodle)- the wings were some of the best I've ever had. We had a wonderful waiter named Trinh- thank you for the great meal and service!
We knew the food was gonna be excellent but the service was over the top this is a great crew, I know miss experience when in the neighborhood
Delicious Vietnamese food, and quite a few that we have not had before. Must try if you love exploring! Especially loved the baked chicken.
My husband and I were in town for a conference and given the cold weather it felt like a perfect night for pho. Looking for some real authentic Vietnamese food I stumbled across this restaurant, and I am so glad I did! We hopped into an uber and in 20 minutes arrived in front of the beautiful entrance of High Lua. The restaurant wasn't too busy, so we were able to be seated right away. We ordered the lemonade with basil seeds and the spring rolls to start. Both were delicious! And then we got down to business, both of us ordered the beef pho and it didn't disappoint! The flavors were phenomenal, and every ingredient was fresh. Towards the end of our meal, we struck up a conversation with what turned out to be one of the owners named Ken. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience and even gave us a sample of the broth for both the vegetable and chicken pho. It spoke volumes about how much care is put into the food and overall experience here! Our waitress Sophia was also amazing (hoping she is still there as this is a late post). Her recommendations were spot on, and I really appreciate that she didn't let me miss out on one of the best Vietnamese coffee's I've had in a while! When we come back to New York we will certainly be back!
