Snob people welcome you at the entrance of the rooftop bar which is clearly not for families. We had to pay an entry fee to access the top floor and we were five. 20USD per person, which gives you an idea about their philosophy. 20 seconds pass and a nice lady (certainly the only professional of all) proposes to give free access for the 3 kids. We accept and climb to the top. After being told that I could sit by a table only if I commit to pay 100USD per person (by the duke of snobs certainly the less professional of all), we move away from this side of the bar. Then, no table available. I asked to be reimbursed of the fee and went to see the person in charge, a young lady, the worst professional I ever seen in this business for the last 30 years. No reimbursement. You have paid, you lose. My best part was when the duke of snobs snickered when I was explaining my case to the blond lady in charge, totally powerless in solving the case she created herself. By the way, just go to Ceccini’s next doo, they have a better view on the Brooklyn bridge and they are true pros. My advice to Harriet: don’t create problems if you cannot solve them afterwards. Don’t make money, make clients feeling happy…or change your job. Don’t treat people the way you do it. You are making money today but tomorrow will be different. Don’t ever tell your client “first come first served” this is not a race. Tomorrow has already started with myself never coming back to your place. Congratulations about winning the award for WORST EXPERIENCE IN NY during my family 2-week trip.

I have never given such a low rate but I think people should be warned and avoid this place at all costs. The view is spectacular but this is where it all ends. We were with another couple with kids and although we made the reservation in advance and there were many tables available, we were placed at the far end without a view. We were told upon arrival that kids normally are not allowed!!However, nothing is mentioned in their website. Our kids are used to places like this and know how to behave, this was pretty obvious after 30 min there but nothing changed the mind of the staff to change our spot. In addition, although we had already made quite a generous bill, when we asked for another bottle of wine they reminded us that we had to leave in 20 min due to the time restriction. Overall extremely rude and very bad hosting. The management should know that what makes a place stand out is not the view or fancy furniture but the SERVICE! Especially when you are forced to pay a fortune with the minimum consumption (which by the way we fois out upon arrival). Don’t bother with this place, it is really not worth the fuss nor the money!

The views are really superb. The cocktails were ok, obviously very expensive given the location. We were advised by 3 separate staff “were we aware there is a $50 minimum per person to sit here”. Each time we said that would be fine and we would easily do that (2 cocktails each basically). We were there mid afternoon for 2 hours. It was maybe a third full, and we were presented with the check, without having asked for it! We felt unwelcome and decided to leave after that. As we left, 2 of the waiting staff stood at the top of the stairs as we walked down and talked Spanish. It felt like they were talking about us.

Had a wonderful time at Harriet's! The bites were delicious but hands down, the tuna tartare is out of this world amazing! A must order when you visit. Great vibes, great music, Kim and Brett were great and even one of the managers, Ben stopped by to see how we were doing. Loved it and perfect place for summer sunsets.

Just to be clear: you come for the view, not for the drinks nor the food. Cocktails and food are absolutely average and totally overpriced. Do not book a table. You will have to eat and drink for at least 50 dollar per person (+tax and 20% gratuity). Instead, just go there for a drink at the bar. You will enjoy the same view without paying the minimum for food and beverage.

Came for a drag brunch event and ARMANDO was absolutely amazing and really helped make our experience a great one! He was super attentive and enthusiastic and we had a smile on our faces every time he left our table! Thank you Armando !

Great views of lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. Staff is very friendly. The only downside is the cost of a Mezcal margarita made with basic del magueys Vidal. They were $20+

an average lounge at the rooftop. price very high as compare to service but food is very delicious and good quality.

I was a guest at the hotel so booked a table to take family members for drinks and snacks at dinner time. We were given a beautiful table right in front of the window and the view truly is spectacular. We had good service; the food and drinks were tasty but I wouldn't say they were out of the ordinary. You are really paying a premium for that awesome view which is fine, just know that in advance. I am glad I read reviews here in advance which pointed out the included gratuity of 20% and then the line still there on the bill for more gratuity. Bit sneaky, so glad I knew in advance. I gave it a very good overall rating because the service was really good and the view is stunning.
