GREAT sandwiches. We both got the Jim Carrey and it was deliciously packed with all sorts of meat, cheese, and sauces. They’re open all the time so it makes a great meal for the weary traveler or late night snack.
Let me start off by saying I been going there for years. I introduced this place to my sister and a bunch of friends and every single time we all have the same experience. That disgusting sad excuse for a person working behind the counter making sandwiches. It doesn’t matter how nice you are to him, it’s like every day he’s having a bad day and hates his job. I’ve let it slide every single time but this time I’ve had enough. I ordered my sandwich without Mayo.. he adds Mayo so I go inside and politely ask him to make me another. He starts yelling at me saying if I want another one I have to pay for it and take it up with the owner. Excuse me????? I specifically asked for it without Mayo. I understand everyone makes mistakes but to yell at me in front of a whole store is disgusting especially when it was YOUR mistake. I’ll be taking my business to the Hana’s in bushwick from now on and so will everyone I sent there. This man needs to be fired.
Like the Bodega in boston that hides a beautiful clothing shop, Hana hides a beautiful sandwich shop. Thank you for your service.
Okay sandwiches for a good price, everything else is overpriced
Came here cause its the only deli in tye area open 24/7 with vegan/vegetarian options that are as mouth drooling and good as the meat sandwiches. Ive had a few cold cuts and hot heroes from here before but due to my recent change in dieting I decided to try one of their vegan sandwiches a try & the Bezo Azul was amazingly delicious, well put together and filling. I usually eat huge portions & just a half had me feeling full & energized after a good skate session. In short, this place is def worth a try no matter your diet or protein preference.
I have been ordering delivery from here for a few years. They have always done exactly what I asked when there were special instructions. Recently, I asked for a large dill pickle along with my sandwich for delivery. The sandwich was phenomenal, and the pickle was one of, if not, the largest I’ve ever seen. Hana never disappoints.
