I tried calling for a delivery 7 times today no one answered the phone called around 7pm didnt even get to try the food
Great spot for authentic home cooking just a short walk from Industry City. The papusas stole the show but we also enjoyed the tamales, guacamole, and the horchata to wash it all down.
I've been coming here for several years. Lately the quality of the food hasn't been as good. Worse still the service has declined. The older gentlemen who is the owner can be curt and impolite. A little disappointing to a long-time customer.

The food and service is 10/10. Everyone was so welcoming and the decor was very cozy with Salvadorean touches everywhere like the beautiful towel paintings hung up on the exposed brick wall! I had the salmon with rice and vegetables as well as the vegetable soup. The salmon was so tender and fresh. The soup was to die for, the broth was delectable and the vegetables inside were soft and full of flavor. Make sure to try the pupusas as well! The chicken and cheese is my favorite.

Gran Villa staff makes fine El Salvador food with good service.
This is one of my favorite papusa spots in Sunset Park. Definitely recommend.
Went here for years before pandemic. Lovely food and people. Unfortunately, last visit (pickup order), I received spoiled jugo de marañon & multiple foods with hair inside. I only hope for the best to Gran Villa & that this message finds them well, but quality control/food safety always comes first.
Best food in Sunset Park. Dont waste your money in industry city's overly expensive food building.
