My girlfriend and I went here several times on our trip to NYC and it was our favorite bar of the ones we visited. Their drinks are very reasonably priced (cash-only, but there is an ATM inside) and the staff is very friendly. The vibes and decorations are great and you see a wonderful mixture of women there (it's not strictly young, old, fem, butch, etc.). The music isn't overbearingly loud, the drink names are fun, and the outdoor seating out back is quite nice.My only concern is that the maintenance is a bit lacking. In one of the bathrooms, I noticed that the door frame had taken quite a beating, and you can see that there are two layers of tiles on the floor because the top layer has broken off in some parts. Not that I expect perfection (especially in a bar with cheap drinks), but I do worry some of the deferred maintenance on display will create a serious repair bill in the future that would be much cheaper to deal with now. Also, the pay phone doesn't work.

I love this bar so much. The outside patio’s revamp is so fab too (ok I hadn’t been in a while!)

The place is charming, and the staff were friendly. I had a paloma and a tequila sunrise, both were delicious (and strong.) I am a gay man and I felt welcomed, however I only came with one other female friend because she wanted to check it out. There is also a charming and spacious outdoor space in the back. There are many great places in the area to grab a bite, not sure if the bar had food or not - wasn't looking for it. Cash only bar, but there is an ATM.

Best Best Best time ever!...very friendly staff, everyone i met was wonderful and the drinks rock

Total kill of a great night, stepped in only to be told it’s a cash bar. It’s 2022…. Stop sleeping in the 70s

Just a heads up they still ask for vax cards ?. We hated to support that discrimination but still went in and had a beer. Bartenders were great and the space takes you back to a lodge at an old resort on a lake. Very lovely!

Great space, friendly bar tenders, can't comment on the drinks because I haven't had any. Really enjoyed karaoke night!

TERF central. My friend and I, both trans people were verbally assaulted by self identified “radical feminists”.It was my first time here after the pandemic. I had felt TERF-vibes before but never confirmed it until I was explicitly called a “that” and “it” by two, self identified, lesbian women. Told the bartender, said they’d “talk to them. “ they were allowed to stay and I left feeling so hurt. Hope things change for others, but I’m never going back.

Sheila's spot is back and better than ever. Fun LGBTQIA+ bar with pool table and outdoor garden. Cash only.

It’s a nice place to have few beers and talk
