This place was very good. The music was on point and the food was great. The staff was good but they are not good with large groups. Other then that the spot was great drinks are strong enough. I will definitely hit this spot again just with a smaller amount of ppl.
I went here on Wednesday afternoon for lunch. Dined in. This food was amazing,so fresh and tasteful. The waitress IMANI was so pleasant, attentive. I enjoyed my time there. The drinks, food, service. Was on point. I will be back for sure. ????. Omg the cabbage was amazing. I took some home and it was even good cold ??
TERRIBLE!! 1st no hostess then it was 10 minutes before an actual waiter bought menus. Our waiter was extremely preoccupied with her friends at another table. Finally after another 15 minutes we were able to order, my date's food came out 10 minutes later while i waited 20 minutes for mine. She never assured me abt my food, nor was she apologetic about how long my food was taking until RIGHT BEFORE it came out!! So after the long wait for my food MY SHRIMP WAS BAD (as in, they were old)!! All I could eat was the rice and vegetables. I must say for a caribbean spot they should be ashamed smh the music is WAY too loud plus patrons from the bar can come to your table and invade your space while you're dining #BEWARE
I celebrated my 48th Birthday at Fusions Restaurant. The food, the music, the custom service was absolutely amazing. I have a beautiful time celebrating my birthday. Thank you so much Fusions for making my birthday a success.
For me, the location is SUPER convenient. It's down the block from me. If I don't want to go far and watch the games, I'm definitely post up there. The service I received from the bartender named Virginia was great! However, there was a good number of deficiencies; my father wanted a daiquiri and the blender was broken, there wasn't any ice cream and when I wanted a Sprite, the tank had to be replaced. She was able to navigate these issues seamlessly which was impressive.
Went in to meet with family, the first time i went it was a terrible experience and unfortunately i tried to give them a second chance cause i love to support black business but unfortunately this experience was worst than the first . Today temperature in Brooklyn was 16 degrees and the restaurant was the same exact temperature everyone still had their coats on, this is suppose to be a nice comfortable Cozy place not an icebox (and yes we complained a couple of times )although the manager gave us a shot and drink on him (the free drinks were terrible) it took them 2 hours to bring the food out and they forgot to put in my food order (and i was hungry ) i do not DO NOT recommend this restaurant the restaurant was empty their was no reason for the food to come out 2 hours later with no heat
I remember when I first learned about this place a few years ago. Told my friend and we went and had a nice time. I've been coming back. When I'm at gateway I try to sneak here only because I know I shouldn't. Long story short it's a must stop by. Now last night my drink was so good. I had a blue Hawaiian and some curry boneless chicken with veggies and rice and my co worker had the oxtails. Our food was goodt!!!!. I took the rest of mines home The place can get packed quick.
I arrived at Fusion East at 8:30 pm on Friday night. The place was over crowded and no one wore a mask. My table was next to a party of 12, where a lady that had too much to drink threw up all over the table and the floor , then passed out. My food came and I couldn’t eat it because of the smell of vomit. I told the manager that he needed to mop the floor and clean off the table where the lady was sitting and still throwing up.The manager sent a young over to clean up the mess with a broom, paper towels and a spray. I said no you need a mop and colorax He never got them. I couldn’t eat my food. When the lady left in an ambulance and the family. They wiped the table and chairs with a dry paper towel. No bleach or cleaning solution.I will never go there again. Fusion is not following any health codes or good hygiene practices. When I left , I could still see throw up the floor where new guest came and sat downFood:The curry goat had too many small bones you could choke on a bone. I asked for collard greens and I was given carrots and hard string beans. My husband got the collard greens.I told the waiter that I ordered collard greens, the collard greens was brought to my table when my husband was signing the bill. I ask for them to put them in a to go box with the food that I could not eat because of the vomit smell. When I got home I heated the food , I could eat the collard green they had so much sandy not washed well or at all. I threw everything in the garbageNastyGloria.
Went here for lunch after a friend raved about the food. I finally got a chance to go and I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. I had their version of Rasta pasta which had curry in it along with oxtails that was cooked to perfection. My only gripe would be that the portion was a tad small for the price which is higher than average I’ve seen for the same meal elsewhere. My meal was $24 and for that I expected a serving maybe a little bigger. I get that after the pandemic costs are a little higher but I think there still could be some minor adjustments. Other than that I loved the Henny wings. They were sooo good. I’d order then 50 times over. The drinks were nice, strong, and on point flavor wise. I tried 2 different drinks and I enjoyed them both. The waitress we had was sweet pie. Wish I remember her name and the dread guy that was nice too. I do give them an A++ on service. I’d return for drinks and wings for sure but I’m not so sure I’d care to order an entree. In short I had a pretty good experience. Minus one star for value overall.
Ok, so...I guess if you're going to a Caribbean spot you should expect slow service, but this was slow slow service.First, we had a reservation made for 10 ppl at 7. They didn't seat us till about 7:30, still putting the table together. This wasn't as big of a deal, at least there was space and they were accommodating.Second, took a min to flag down someone to take first drink orders and had to ask multiple times for water for the table. I ended up just going to the bar at some point and ordering a drink separately because I wasn't sure when we'd get approached. One of my friends ordered a passion fruit mojito and they took it back twice because it wasn't the right drink. And in between taking it back they took over 15 mins to bring it back.Third, getting the food took awhile, but it was to be expected.Fourth, the check out process was sooo daunting. They told us they could only put us on one check and two cards max. They did accept cash tho so some of us put down cash and the rest on cards. It turned into a whole thing, the waiter didn't understand the math we were doing. Then their system or internet went down and they couldn't process the payment. We probably waited about 45 mins to pay.Redeeming factor is that everyone loved the food and the music. But damn the service just really made the experience exhausting. I personally don't think it's worth coming back, maybe during the day on a not so busy day.
