The food smelled so good when it was brought out and it tasted even better! The pork was marinated perfectly and paired nicely with the garlic fried rice. Will definitely be coming back!
We had rexervation for Friday 6:45pm, we were seated immediately.Restaurant had quite lovely design, cozy and lovely. We really enjoyed bibingka, I honestly wasn't expecting it to be sweet like I would have it as a dessert. 7-up shrimp was a new dish to both of us and it pure yum!Ribs were scrumptious! We had duck egg and laing, those 2 sides were out of our taste palate unfortunately, but I would still recommend to try it.Whole reason actually to come to Filipino restaurant is to have halo halo, it's my favorite for awhile, I just wish they would have less shaved ice.BYOB, no cork charge.P. S. please do something about your front door, restaurant team, it's way too loud to enjoy dinner time. TY
15/10. One of my FAVORITE spots in CG. Service is always amazing. Good, amazing! They change up the menu to keep it fresh and interesting. Big group? NO PROBLEM! Cute outdoor space? CHECK! It's got everything, even BYOB!I come here at least once a week and love the team!
This place is an absolute gem - I dined here abouta week ago and found myself thinking about it, sofigured I'd write a review. The food and service are excellent and the decor is stylish and homey. The peel and eat shrimp was delicious and it goeswithout saying that the BBQ did not disappoint.Very reasonable prices too! Highly recommendand I will be back.
Most folks don't think Filipino food should be pricey. But when it's done really well, at a gourmet level, and the restaurant is in NYC, expect to pay a bit more. But, FOB is so worth it! We have been to the Philippines several times, and have eaten more than our share of Filipino food. We started with Bibinkga - moist and wonderful. Dinner was spare ribs, overnight adobo and pancit. The plates were wiped clean, it was all so delicious! And we ended the night with a big bowl of Halo Halo. The price to portion ratio isn't ideal, but the food is a special treat that should be savored. And perhaps to compensate, there is no corkage fee for BYOB. That's a win in my book.
The flavors are on point, Bibingka is so good and my favorite Chicken inasal reminds me of home
Nice little spot. It’s a bit of fusion cooking, but still pretty good. Nice back door area as well
Wow!! Not only is FOB a great looking restaurant, the food is delicious! My friends and I ordered some sides and entrees to share.I highly recommend the sizzling steak and the chicken adobo. Extremely savory and mouthwatering. As for the dessert, FOB has three options. My absolute favorite was the BIKO! (Coconut sticky rice). Two words: Get. It! ??Pro-tip: FOB is BYOB which, to me, is a plus.
Entrees were huge everything tasted really good. I was more surprised of a Filipino place in Brooklyn went to try it out. Had steak pork belly ribs and the chicken 10/10 photos came out blurry sorry
Really good
