I love love love the jerk chicken here. I will never eat another jerk chicken in America. Also I love that the food is cooked in front of you on the grill.
I bought jerk chicken and it was stale, like it was done from yesterday.
Very ridiculous attitude. I wish I could give a zero star.I live in a different Borough but knew the spot like 7 years ago (They had nice workers then) and since I have a new job in Brooklyn, I decided to drive 4 miles to get food there. I ordered rice with Oxtail and small jerk chicken. Oxtail was $18 and jerk chicken was $7.50 which totalled $25.50 and I had $25.37,so I gave him $40 (2 $20 notes). He had some kind of attitude, so I said, dont worry about the jerk chicken,I will buy the oxtail alone. He then gave me a $10 note, a $5 note, 6 pieces of $1 note and 3 quarters. I politely asked him to give me the $20 note that he was holding and he refused, saying he has refunded the jerk chicken money. I tried explaining to him, instead he returned my money and said he wasnt selling food to me. A guy came out, they spoke and he told me that I can not expect my money not to be broken into pieces but he didnt bother to ask me what the problem was and they started attending to others.
I got the small jerk chicken. Firstly I’d like to say the chicken was bomb but the service even if they’re not all smiles and eager to serve you they are extremely helpful! The woman at the counter helped me pick which vegetable and the woman serving me suggested I try the oxtail gravy on my rice even after I already paid. I asked what a couple more things were because I’m not very familiar with Jamaican cuisine. Everyone helped me learn even some costumers! Definitely will be back to try the “stewpeas” as recommended to me.
Still one of my favorite Caribbean restaurant. Best rice n peas and the jerk sauce is somethin special.
Been coming here for 20 years until leaving the city in 2018. Just moved back and oxtail is $7 more and you get half the meat. Finally time for a new spot
Amazing jerk chicken. Crispy skin, juicy tender meat.

There food is good but they would charge you more
The bake and salt fish was pretty ok. They just don't make the bake like Trinidadian do.
