we went there specifically for breakfast. 5 stars for the first day: decor, music, excellent services. Then, day after day, it got worse. Not the same employee, questionable service, no music, and we were even charged more for the same meal ! shame ! Food was good but we won't be back!
I came straight from airport. My waiter Emanuel was Fabulous and so Welcoming. He told us the Specials of the Day and he hit it on the Mark. I had octopus salad. Reminded me of my mothers cooking. The FOOD is SOOO GOOD that l took home for later. The establishment was clean, inviting and the Staff was Fabulous, especially Emanuel.
I ordered food. With that food I ordered three sauces. Of course the sauce is missing when I receive my order. So, I call them and ask them to bring it to me as I am only a block and a half away. The girl on the phone argues with me that it was put in the bag. This is 90 cent sauce we are talking about here. Just three of them. Then left me on hold for three minutes to come back to the phone and ask me my name again. And then again. And the one more time. I ordered $40 worth of food. I had it reimbursed back to my account.Business owner: Three 90 cent sauces cost your restaurant 40 bucks!Explain to your employees how business works.Also, hire better help!
Placed order at 10:40pm, got here at 12:30am. The delivery hours are wrong on their ChowNow page. Called multiple times to let them know and to ensure delivery would get here sooner than that (I've had to do this multiple times in the past). Food, of course, is all cold. Won't be ordering delivery from here again. An easy fix and they still haven't done anything about it
Horrible service! Would give a zero star if possible. I went in to make a simple order. Their menu said that they had a special for 2 wheat empanadas for $7, but when I ordered the woman behind the desk said “oh yeah we have that special, or maybe we might not. I don’t know how to put it in the computer” then proceeded to go back to what she was doing, completely ignoring me and the other customer waiting to pay. After a few mins she called some other staff member named David over and David tells me that I might no be able to get the special and that it was dine-in only (which it does not say on the menu). He goes back to “ask the kitchen” ??? This made no sense but moving on. He comes back and tells me that yes, I can have the special and indeed take it to-go. He then walks away and I’m left standing there as the woman behind the desk continues to ignore me. After some time I ask her if shes willing to take my order or not and she argues back to me that shes waiting for David, whom she never even mentioned anything too. I asked her if she could call him over or something, she rolls her eyes and rudely calls David’s name. At this point I’ve waited at the counter for 15 mins and decide that it was time to go. Just absolutely horrible, mismanaged restaurant. These people do not know how to do business, let alone provide good service. Beware, their lies and extremely rude behavior! GROSS!
Everything about this place is amazing. The only problem with this place I would have to say would be the pricing on items is ridiculous. Yes it taste delicious but is one small empanada really worth almost $4 ? I don't think so. Aside from that everything else about this place is awesome and I love the flavors. Please just fix your pricing if possible because I feel you'll aquire way more customers this way.
Empanadas are absolutely on point! Food is always fresh and made with quality ingredients. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Overall, it's a pleasure to be a reoccurring customer at this place!
Food was delicious, pick up was quick & easy. Only thing they forget was my chimmichurri sauce. Other then that, definitely worth trying. No complaints on the food.
These are some of the best empenadas I have ever had. They are a little more pricey than most empenada spots, but worth it! They are stuffed nicely and delicious. My favorites are the Philly cheese steak, the Cheese burger and the Mamacita ( Crab)
I normally do empanadas here (cheeseburger one is my favorite). But I decided to try a something new this time, got the summer salad. Perfect ratio of greens and other ingredients, greens were super fresh, every ingredient was flavorful, was surprised considering it was delivery! I’m just not a big salad person….and this was one of the best I’ve had. Looking forward to trying more of their not-empanada menu.
