I have been seeing videos for the Emmy Burger for three years, Finally decided to see if the hype is worth it. It was definitely worth it and more. The simplicity of the onions and the richness of the sauce were the perfect compliment to the fine meat and delicious Cheese. The French Fries were perfect and the Lavender infused Gin & Tonic is not to be missed.
First let me start by saying service is excellent. For the food, the burger was EXCELLENT according my fiance. For me the Emily pie was EXCELLENT. The honey, truffle oil and pistachios were such a good combo. The wedge salad didn't even have a teaspoon of dressing on it. I didn't want to eat a dry salad so I asked for more dressing and then was charged $2. Also ordered the Brender pie. I was excited because in pictures everything looks so good and saucy but when my pie came out it was like the sauce evaporated and I was left withva diary pie and what used to be sauce. I also asked if could replace the pepperoni with mushrooms and my server said ok. When I got the bill I was charged $4 for mushrooms. If I was still going to pay for the pepperoni I could've just ordered it on the side and my fiance could've ate it and I wouldn't have gotten mushrooms. I know on the menu it says no modifications on the burger but it didn't say anything about no substitutions on the pizza. I brought this up to the server and he was kind and tried to see what he could do. They took off the $2 ranch. So all in all half our meal was excellent and half our meal was bleh with the bleh parts costing us extra.
known for their burger and doesn’t disappoint! one of the best gourmet burgers I’ve had and you can tell it was made from high quality ingredients. however, the price at $31 makes this a place to venture only for special occasions.the patty was cooked a good medium rare, the caramelized onions added a little sweetness, the emily sauce was tasty as well, and the pretzel bun was a great choice!one of the surprising highlights were the fries (reminded me of a better mcdonald’s fries) with the house made ketchup.
Went there for lunch to try the emmy burger. Service was perfect, kind and attentive but not overwhelming. They served us at the proper time and the burger was just spectacular. The final bill was pricey, especially after including tax and tip, but we expected that as we knew that the Emmy burger does not come cheap. I recommend it.
I got the Emmy burger which is one of the things they’re most known for. I really enjoyed it and think it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had.
Quaint and cozy elevated spot with delicious pizza and great service. We stopped in on a weeknight around 6:30 without a reservation. The hostess kindly seated us at a vacant table ahead of an 8pm reservation. We ordered 2 pizzas and the beat salad - all delicious. The best pizza was one of the specials and had banana peppers which really made this one great. The pizza had a thin crust and great flavor. We will be returning during our next trip to Brooklyn!
I was waiting for two years for the Australian border to finally open and I could jet off to the States. Emily - top suggestion for burgers by Eaters. We made a reservation and didn’t have to wait at their original shop in Brooklyn. It’s a small place which prob sits 20, so make sure you plan ahead.Re the food, OUTSTANDING. Emmy burger came as described - picture perfect and amazing flavour. Never had this kinda bun ever, it’s an interesting texture the first time. The Emmy sauce was great, sat very well with the meat and brought the whole burger together. The Wagyu patty was thick enough to retain all the juice, could really taste the meatiness.I also ordered the pizza, the circle one instead of the square. It was a fine peace of pie, but just fine compared to the burger.Overall experience 5 STARS.
Went there for the burger and was not disappointed. It is a really nice burger, specially the bread used. In the nice area of Brooklyn.
It's hard to get a table at this location. I had to sit outside with my back to the heater. It was alright, but it was chilly. I ordered the Emmy burger and it was truly fantastic. They have some kind of onions or special sauce that is very rich and give a lot of flavor. They also do something with the bread to make it very robust. This would be a better dinner location when it warms up.
We had a great experience here. The ambiance is wonderful, and albeit small, feels very comfortable. We made a reservation about a month in advance and the restaurant was packed, I'm not sure how accommodating they are with walk-ins. We had a special of carrots with ricotta and they were delicious. The dry aged burger was good, not the best burger I've had in my life but still good. The two pizzas we had were delicious. One had honey and pepperoni and was so good.
