EM is a special place bc their pho is served in such cute decorative bowls. The flavor of the soup broth is simple yet makes u feel warmth. Doesnt need much else. A home vibe. Ingredients were fresh.Chicken wing flavors were 10! So good, a little vinegary tangy but so flavorful. A hint of fish sauce, not to scare you away bc it was the good kind.Their posters about their smoothies being good is NOT a lie. We got strawberry field and green dream(avocado and condense milk). I was suxh a fan of the avocado. AMAZING. 10
Their Bang Mi sandwich is really good, as well as their Vietnamese noodle soup. Totally recommend stopping by here if you're ever hungry for a meal or for anything.
i just ordered uber eat from them and i ordered Pho Bo Em its said come with meat bal, filet mignon, rib eye, black angus brisket. When I got the takeaway, I opened it and it was just a few slices of raw beef and noodles, with very few toppings. And something like this costs me 15 bucks! I don't know now businesses are so started to cheat consumers? It's one thing to taste good, but you can't do business without conscience
We were appealed by a recommended post on Facebook foodie group about Em Vietnamese Kitchen and the author said it’s the best pho he has ever had in NYC.The decor is humble, clean but really tiny with limited seating of 4 tables, but the wait wasn’t too bad, about 20 mins for 2. The staff was cool but served everything super quickly. We ordered their Pineapple Express, Gai Cuan which is summer rolls and Pho Bo Em with extra Short Rub (+$8) from their limited menu. The drink and food were amazingly delicious especially the smoothies, which was refreshing with strong pineapple flavor. The broth of pho was also really tasty and it was braised with great ingredients. There is another location of Em in Dumbo, but the food they serve & the price are different and we prefer this one much better even though it’s a bit far for us.
This place has decent pho but the banh mi is really good. The pork belly dish was also really good. It's definitely not cheap though.
Yummy little shop. Would recommend for small group of less than 4
I recommend the grilled chicken with lettuce and noodles! Excellent price and quality
Love Vietnamese sandwiches, what this place making is not Vietnamese sandwiches.Pure bs.
Delicious and flavorful pho broth!!! Their smoothies are also super good and fresh!
Stopped by here with my family for lunch. I was fine with the place being smaller than most restaurants, but the sound of blenders making smoothies could be heard throughout the whole store which wasn’t pleasing when you’re trying to talk to your family and they can’t hear you well. Ordered the Pho Bo Em; broth was delicious but they could’ve been more generous with the meat portion… it was $13. The Banh Mi Burger was pretty good as well. Overall, would not be coming again because of the prices for the quality. It wasn’t WORTH the price… there are so many other Vietnamese places I’ve went to that are just as delicious and cheaper.
