Rinconcito originally opened in 2019. As a women owned establishment with a selection of Mexican and Dominican food this place seemed wonderful! Sadly, no matter how much I want this place to be great.. it just never happened. In the past, delivery had been extremely late, orders weren’t exactly right, or the food was just not well prepared. The most important thing is the food. Mind you it was delivery and It will always impede on a dish…But sadly, a chorizo burrito with cheese was uneatable this time. To truly stand out, consider what your initial goal was.. What do you want to strive to be the best at? Would you rather prepare a limited menu that would cut your food budget in order to source better ingredients or create a massive menu with poorly sourced ingredients? Please consider this El Rinconcito. Good luck ?

Best place in the town! Very friendly staff food made fresh , Tacos birria are boom !

Delicious Dominican breakfast & crab empanadas! I did Uber eats in Brooklyn and wasn’t disappointed!

Absolute trash ? went there for the beef tacos today and it was atrocious. First off $20 for 6 tacos and $14 for 4 I understand money is tight but at least make it a little cheaper. There was no seasoning way too much onion and the beef and tortilla wasn’t even as close to being as cooked as the picture on the internet. I am extremely disappointed do better. ???

You’re probably here because you seen an ad with a really good looking taco. Well your taco isn’t gonna look anything like that and it really isn’t the best taco. Flavor wise, It’s just okay… the staff was really nice though.

I had their Huevos ranchero meal...it was so filling and satisfying. Their rice is so good and flavorful and the beans melted in my mouth like butter. But the real star was the egg(hint the name)they put it on a crisp tortilla I believe with I believe is a homemade salsa. It's soo good. My friend saids their passion fruit smoothie is the best.

really great latino spot with a wide section. i don't usually order nachos but im glad i did, the enchilada meat was nice chunks well seasoned and still a bit moist- it complimented all the well made components on the nachos well. the shrimp taco was awesome and chorizo was pretty solid. they didn't have tinga and called me promptly to make sure i got something i wanted, which is great. my friend got the torta and im pretty sure he loved it. can't wait to order from here on the regular.

El Rinconcito Mix is a good neighborhood restaurant. I enjoyed my meal here, although I think the Dominican food is a lot better than the Mexican food. Overall, it's worth stopping in if you're in the area.

The food was so bland. I should’ve read the reviews before I ordered. I had chicken, crab and shrimp empanadas and ALL of them were bland. No seasoning no nothing.

Extremely respectable birria taco joint that hits the spot in every way. Ignore all the ppl complaining about a lack of flavour; I feel sorry for them.Extremely marrowy consommé with a nice balance of mouth feel, umami and fattiness. The portions were very generous also. Extremely full for the price. Tartness of the sauces cut right through the fat, and the spice level was on point, nothing major but definitely there as a present part of the overall flavour experience.Support local business!
