One of my favorite places to grab tacos. Not only are the tacos delicious they have their own special twist. Also to compliment my tacos a grab an ice cold el jefe to drink it down with.

The shrimp taco and grill corn....HMMMM. Delicious. It was very good. They have outdoor dining. It was good.
Aw, I was really hoping to like this place. I haven’t found a good burrito place in the neighborhood yet, and sadly El Jeffe didn’t deliver. The food arrived 20 minutes late, so it was cold upon arrival. The steak was so salty that I really couldn’t eat the whole burrito. Hardly any lettuce or pico, overall really dry. I had requested the sour cream on the side too, which did not happen. Would be willing to give another try but truly expected better from all the reviews.
Great salsa and chicken quesadillas. The queso needs to be revamped however as it isn’t very good. Understandably access to the cheeses that Americans/Mexicans use for their queso is probably more limited. Equally the consommé in the beef quesadillas needs scrapped as it’s a liquid and seems more French than tex-mex/Mexican. More sour cream and salsa is needed to prevent dryness. As an American that is accustomed to excellent tex -mex or Mexican, I’m more picky since I know what’s authentic and to expect. Overall though for a non-American/Mexican restaurant this is pretty excellent and they’ve made an effort overall. My observations are more minor that can easily be fixed.
Fried shrimp burrito was disgusting. Dry, rice didn’t taste like anything and wasn’t fully cooked. It had a weird taste. Wasn’t pleased at all.

I had a hard time figuring out which one I was going to start with first because they all looked so delicious. Of course i started with Fried chicken taco haha.I ordered:1. Fried Chicken tacos x22. Shrimp taco3. Steak taco4. Fish tacoWOWZERS! These were the top 5 best tacos I've ever had TBH.If you're thinking about ordering tacos this is it.Next best thing to order is the quesadilla & nachos.

In fairness, it was my first time visiting. I didn't find what I ordered to be flavorful. I'm sure they have items on their menu that's good. Very disappointing that the chips and salsa lacked flavor. Chips were not salted, and had no lime, etc. The roasted salsa had a very nice texture, but again - lacked flavor. Whoever visits, please don't be discouraged by my post. Try something off the menu!
I had the grilled shrimp bowl with guacamole and chips. It was delicious, filling and a lot of food. Also, they have affordable prices.
