Adorable sweet shack with a kind family staff. The "Serious Chocolate" is seriously good. Highly recommend, especially on a hot day.
The Mini Sundae is a good order to go with if this is the 1st visit. I choose the test kitchen flavor of yogurt basil with crushed cones & lavender macaroon.

Good product, not Michelin stars if they existed for ice cream or gelato, yet a solid ice creamThey sell it by the pint as well, we bought 2 pints and they did not have a bag to carry them - we live a few blocks away, ice cream arrived home creamy yes, but definitely not iced nor gelato - they should tell customers at the time of purchase “no bags” !Further unless mistaken combined sales tax rate in Brooklyn NY is 8.875 % (NY state, Brooklyn and “special” tax) which on the cost of two pints each at 11$ amounts to 1.95$. So 22 + 1.95 = 23.95 $. Say 24$. I was charged 25$. Plus (voluntary) tip.Not very serious !
Salted carmel gelato tasted only like milk, sadly. Whipped cream left some to be desired as well. The lavender macaron was good. Lots of families with children running around. No indoor space but good outdoor seating.
Absolutely delicious! I miss their Bourbon Chocolate but their Serious Chocolate is delicious as well!! Seriously cannot go wrong here, especially if you’re dieting!
Up there for best Gelato in city. Miss the red hook location but i'm glad there still doing what they do best.Bourbon chocolate ,Banana, salted caramel are the standouts for me.As a side please bring back the thermal containers so I can bring it home :)
This place is heavenly - definitely my favorite gelato in NYC! The gelato flavors are delicious plus for $1 extra they add on sauce and a macaroon!
