Our food was amazing! The atmosphere is great and the staff was friendly.Try the chicken samosas!
I love Indian. It’s my favorite food. This food was really truly bad. I mean, tikka Marsala like soup. Bad quality spices and meat. The nan was like wonder bread. The samosa was offensively burnt. Like raw lentils inside. This place totally disrespected us. Awful. Never eat here again. Terrible.
Gave me food poisoning. Couldn’t eat anything for 3 days. Was pretty good the first time I had it though. Samosas were fire.Go at your own risk ?♂️
One of my favorite take out places in NYC: I usually never write reviews but have to because I frequent this place so much. Solid portions, absolutely delicious, and good service. I strongly believe the people who criticize the depth of flavors haven't extensively tried the menu. The vegetable somosas, saag paneer, chicken mangowala, chicken makhani, and shrimp vindaloo are my favorites and are excellent. Highest recommendation.
It’s my first time ordering from this restaurant and this is will be my last order never ever order again because it’s just a trash when the delivery guy put the food all together and mixed together in a bag very very disappointed such careless delivery and the restaurant?

I am very sorry to say that the Indian restaurant I haven't seen in life, very poor service, food not good not nice at all
Not real Indian food. It lacks the depth and flavors of real Indian food. It is almost like a watered down version. Really disappointing for the price as you could get a trader Joe's version for same quality and a quarter of the price. I wish I could ask for a refund.
We discovered Desi Grill on Thanksgiving while walking through Brooklyn searching for an open place for dinner before a show at Company XIV. We hit a jackpot because the food and service was absolutely amazing. It's a BYOB restaurant and our server directed us to a wine shop a block away - where we picked up a bottle of bourbon and wine. Back at Desi, we had the vegetable and chicken somosas, which were the best we've ever had. For entrees, the butter chicken and house special curry chicken melted in our mouths. Highly recommend this spot!
I only had the vegetable Samosas bc I’m broke but they were sooo good. If you’re ever craving potato and flaky crispy puff pastry, get the vegetable Somoza! One order comes with two chutneys (tamarind and green chutney) Either way it was delicious. 10/10 must recommend. The samosas were crispy and fresh and the service was great. I’ll go here for the tandoori or some other dish in the future and will review again.
