Super tender delicious pastrami. Spiced so well. Trust the employees with what to order if you're not a native. They recommended the pastrami on rye with mustard. It was awesome.
Visited Brooklyn with some family members in June 2022. This restaurant was within walking distance of our lodging, so we decided to order from them. Our only issue/disappointment was that the grill was apparently not working on that particular evening, as half of us were going to order the Philly cheesesteak.... However, being flexible, we all ordered the pastrami sandwich and/or the beef brisket sandwich instead. All the food we had, we enjoyed immensely. The service was very good, too!
It was my first time at this establishment and I expressed this to the person taking my order. He spoke very quickly, when i asked to tell me what is the sizing. Especially since there are no pictures of the sandwich sizes. I ordered a cornbeef with light mayo and mustard. I should've said regular, barely there is all I can say. But what got me was he asked for a tip. I don't mind giving tips when you actually do something for it, customer service is always key.
Old school lunch spot in Bed Stuy. Excellent pastrami, brisket and reuben and corned beef.Small inside. Handful of booths and tables.Sneaky best order might be the Brooklyn cheesesteak - made with the brisket with peppers onions and cheese.
Tried this hole in the wall spot with a variety of meat offerings. I tried the beef brisket and it did not disappoint. It melted away with simple but delicious flavors. A must try if you're ever on Nostrand Ave.
Delicious pastrami. My husband had the brisket and was also impressed. Homemade pickles were a nice addition. The pastrami was nevertheless the best part. I'd definitely go again. Good service, fast service.
The Reuben was done as it should be - so tasty!! This is not an elegant place, but the sandwich was well made: toasted rye with the right amount of meat, sauerkraut, Russian dressing. Delicious!
Sorry to say this place is Not the same… my dad use to take me here all the time, it was out special place to go… close to home and didn’t mind spending $13 for a well maid sandwich…. I asked for a 2 Pastrami sandwiches on rye with mustard small fries and two root beers…. I GOT A DRY Corn beef on stale rye with mayonnaise and Burnt fries…. The sandwich was smaller than One you get at the corner bodega… Not worth 12.99 at all… I am very disappointed and will not be going back ??
Cant go wrong with ordering pastrami, specifically on rye with spicy brown mustard and a can of Dr Browns Cel-Ray soda.But also try to contend beef, perfect with diced potatoes in a breakfast hash, put into a roll and dipped in gravy.If you finish the Triple Decker, which includes a serving of each meat all in one sandwich, you'll get your picture on the wall!!!
Pastrami and Brisket are amazing and the macaroni salad has a wonderful flavor! love this place!
