Great mid-tier sushi place for hand rolls (or maki rolls) made in front of you as you stand at the bar. Sizable portions and fresh fish. Good lunch deals especially if combined with the Dekalb Apple Pay discount day of the week. Highly recommend dining in for a quick delectable meal as opposed to getting takeout which won’t taste as fresh by the time you get home, even if you live nearby.
Ordered a tuna roll, it was delicious and fresh! Prices were kinda high but that’s expected for a food hall setting.
Delicious sushi!!!! Ordered for few times!!!the only thing that deduct some points is the seaweed is so soft, not like traditional sushi hand roll in Japanese restaurant.

Amazing food at a reasonable price but unfortunately due to my recent experience, they’ll only be getting 1 star. I had ordered 3 seared salmon hand rolls and a bunch of other things. They always finish my order really quick which I love and it’s taped and packed nicely so I never worry about it. I went home to find 3 seared shrimp hand rolls in place of my salmon instead which was very disappointing. The next time I went, I thought I’d just bring it up to their attention that something like that happened. The employee just kind of brushed it off saying “oh yeah they’re both seared so yeah” and stares at me. No sort of apology or acknowledgment of their mess up at all, I just find it very upsetting and it left a bitter taste my in mouth for that place. I understand that these things happen but at least apologize on the business’ behalf or try to accommodate.

Spicy tuna was great! And don’t miss out on the spicy mayo—a must. Small portions, but what you get is delicious.
