My favorite brunch place! Food is amazing, coffee is great too!
I dont see what the hype is about this place we went based on the pictures and reviews and I wish I would've read the lowest rated reviews first because they make more sense ! The drinks took about twenty minutes to come the eggs and bacon with toast was worse then diner food for 17 and my quiche was the size of my palm the salad served with it had one cucumber and very little dressing not to mention the food was bland definitely not worth the money.
vegan meal!
It's amazing that such delicious food comes out of their tiny open kitchen. Typically side salads are an afterthought at most other places, but not here. Their homemade Dijon dressing is scrumptious enough that you want to lick the plate! Their breads, 7-grain toast, crepe and beignet, are all yummy!
Peaceful place to work or catch up with a friend! Great food and drink menu. Vegan friendly!
Have meant to praise this place but hesitated for fear of its getting so thronged that I can't get in! Good coffee, pleasant staff, my kinds of French music in the background. French onion soup delicious, says my chef wife. Seems odd to say the atmosphere in a France-angled cafe is gemutlich. But it is.
Before I begin, I just want to say... man, their Croissant aux Amandes was so darn good. Their recipe is none like any other since they are made fresh on premises. The light almond filling is what I adore most, bite after bite was to die for. Oh, and let me tell you, coffee tastes better in a bowl? My husband and I each ordered a cup and both were served in bowls. Not your average size cup of joe, I mean bowl.Anyways, on our day off we happened to stumble upon this cute little café with antique feel décor. Every piece of seating furniture was different which makes this shop unique. Those who eat with me knows there must be some sort of greens on the table. We went for the Organic Kale Butternut Squash Salad, subbed with arugula instead since they were out of kale but I thought arugula tasted just fine. Topped with soft butternut squash, sliced cucumbers, dried cranberries and figs, tossed in a shallot dressing with pumpkin seeds for crunch. Hubs went with boring ole Ouefs sur le Plat aka egg platter with bacon and scrambled eggs; bacon was on the extra crispy side and not to out liking. Overall, we enjoyed our morning date. The staff was friendly which was a plus. I would definitely come back to try all of their baked goods, and for the almond croissant, of course.
very friendly staff! The only thing i (personally) don’t like is that you can’t sit down if you order a drink in a to-go container. I sometimes can’t finish my coffee in one go and would like the option to sit and leave when i’m ready. BUT the drinks are great!
Came here for breakfast/brunch and everything was so great from start to finish. Their service is fast, the food is tasty, and the ambience is elegant and relaxing. I will definitely be here again!
What gives me an immediate high rating is staff engagement. Super friendly upon entry and were very helpful with getting my daughter a highchair and providing ample space for her which I really appreciated. Cold brew coffee was spot on and refreshing. Croissant (both chocolate and almond) were delicious and not heavy. My wife and I got the avocado toast. I would recommend maybe using sourdough as the vessel but the multigrain toast they used was fine as well. Definitely recommend if looking for brunch
