Delicious pork buns and ramen, great service with 80's music playing in the background can't be beat!
Great ramen at the restaurant but do not order delivery unless you’re prepared to heat it up yourself. It arrived cold, the tofu was almost frozen inside, and it wasn’t clear on DoorDash at all when ordering that they expect you to heat it up on the stove or in a microwave at home. The restaurant includes a note on the bag but it is not obvious.
Tasty ramen, would definitely recommend getting the soy egg + some protein as add-ons though
Chuko is how the BK hipster says ramen. It's a real neighborhood staple for prospect heights. Sure the price is a tad bit high but the service, beer selection and food is top notch. It's not the most traditional ramen joint but it's well worth it. I would recommend it to anyone.
Just ordered delivery. Placed order at 8pm, delivered fast within window. Food was absolutely stone cold. It’s also 55 degrees outside so not at all freezing so there would have been very little cool down. I live 10 blocks from the restaurant. Seems as if the broth and contents were pulled out of fridge and packed up. Really unacceptable.
My go-to ramen spot. I’ve been eating here for years it’s my favorite place to go alone. The staff is always attentive. And the ramen is consistently amazing. The buns and Brussel spouts are always an amazing additional to the meal. But sometimes I channel my inner Naruto and get two bowls because it’s just that good. Sometimes there’s a long wait but there’s plenty of bars around that you can go grab a drink while you wait for a table or seat at the bar.
Hit the mark. Not too oily or salty. Good portion size. Still hearty and delicious and a great balance and flavor.And a comfortable inside. Loved the sesame and garlic ramen, and the miso ramen
