We visit Brooklyn once a year. Last year we got take out from here and it was very good. This year we went for dinner and it was simply outstanding. Drinks, food, atmosphere and service were top notch. Dan was our server and was a total pro. We will definitely be back!
I’ve been coming to Chez Moi for the past 2 years and I have to say that the food is consistent every time. The best thing to order is the fried chicken sandwich on the brunch menu. It’s the best chicken sandwich, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Even the fries came out fresh and hot. I’ve also had the BLT which is super delicious. Can’t comment on the service since it was low touch this time. But last time we came for dinner our server was very patient and friendly!
Excellent dining experience. My partner and I stopped by to grab a late lunch. Quaint, cozy environment and welcoming staff. Our server was delightful and made a great wine recommendation. We had the tuna tartare and beet salad to start - both were phenomenal. But the best part was our main dish - the mussels (prepared in the mariniere style). Highly recommend!
Really solid place for great food and service. Come during the day for their Fried Chicken Sandwiches or in the evening for their confit duck. All dishes are well cooked and they offer a solid menu!
French restaurant in Brooklyn heights. Service was good and waitress made great recommendations. The atmosphere was terrific. Pictured are escargot, steamed mussels, duck breast and chocolate mousse dessert.
We had a nice dinner here with decent cocktails. The escargots were the best dish we tried. We also had the steak tartare and the mussels. For dessert we had the tartin, which I would pass on next time. While everything was enjoyable, nothing was outstanding. If you're looking for a nice French spot, this fits the bill. The setting is cute and the service was good. We had reservations and didn't have to wait. The place was pretty busy so reservations are probably a must.
This place is absolutely BREATHTAKING. The scones are out of this world, so fresh and so yummy! I also enjoyed the eggs Benedict, and my friend got some pancakes, which she enjoyed as well!
This cocktail bar was a hidden gem, my fiancé and I came across. The atmosphere was fantastic and the drinks were amazing, but the coolest part about this experience was getting to converse with Diana, the bartender. She really knows her stuff and has a true talent in knowing what someone needs as a cocktail. She recommended the Sazerac and my fiancé LOVED it. It takes a lot for him to be impressed with something, and he was a big fan of that one. The only regret we have, is not making it there before the kitchen closed. There is no doubt that we will be back! Thank you Diana, for sharing your exciting adventures with us!
Food was really good, very good portions. It was a nice quaint restaurant. Very good vibes here. Parking could be a little difficult in this area. Recommended to try
This is a quite nice restaurant which doesn't quite live up to its potential. Atmosphere is very good. Menu is pretty limited but OK. Food is good but not great. The wine list is OK but not great. They did have at least one good beer. Service is very friendly, but not great. We had to wait a long time to order drinks, a long time to order food (and then when the appetizers came the waitress had confused the order...but she was very apologetic, fixed the error quickly, and gave some of us extra wine), a long time for the food to come, we had to remind the waitress that we had ordered a bottle of wine, etc. But still quite pleasant, and I'd happily go back. This is the kind of restaurant that you'd forgive for its flaws and make a regular. Not sure why, but the ambience was good.
