Amazing cachapas and various selections of food. I like the authentic taste of it. I recommend everything on the menu, but their cachapas are absolutely amazing. The cheese just melts in your mouth. I recommend, 100/10.
An amazing restaurant in the heart of East New York with amazing workers that have a great story. Store owner spoke with us while our food was getting prepared about the history and culture of Venezuela. Not to mention the food was 10/10 amazing and well prepared. The taste was like nothing I’ve ever had and I went back ordered something completely different and it was even better than the first order. Buy food from here it’s a must.
Let me start by saying that I’ve been driving to Dykeman for Cachapas for almost a decade now. This is one of my favorite places in NYC to eat so to say I’m excited about them being in BK (I had no idea) is an UNDERSTATEMENT!My first experience here was incredible and like none before. Let me be clear, there is ALWAYS a line for Cachapas in Dykeman that I’ve gladly waited in through rain, sleet or snow; and I DO NOT wait in lines. The beauty of the BK location is that it’s still a hidden gem that most don’t know about it yet so there was no line. I was shocked, but also so excited to have a more personal experience.Luis-Enrique made me feel like I was visiting my family’s Resturant. He even went as far as to bring my food to the car. He was so patient and that’s probably the fastest I’ve ever gotten my Yo-yo before; although they’re worth the wait. I don’t eat meat anymore but the vegan yo-yo did not disappoint. And the passion fruit juice…my goodness! It’s probably the best I’ve had in the states and the consistency (which I care for a lot) of the food and juice carried right over from uptown to BK.I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to this location and please believe it will NOT be the last. I love Cachapas and wish nothing but success and prosperity over this establishment!
The food here is amazing!!! I’ve been coming here for over 3 years now and ever time I come the food is to die for. I HIGHLY recommend the cachapa with Venezuelan cheese…with their wide variety of meats to choose from you can’t go wrong. Love this place and will always bring friends to put them on.
If you haven't eat in this place, i don't know what you doing with your life, just wasting it.Best food in town, they are open until past midnight so if you have a late craving, this is the place. The monster burguer is amazing...
So where do I begin, I had only had Arepas once before and it was REALLY REALLY GOOD, so naturally I had high expectations. I found this place on google and I tried my luck. The couple who owned the place were so nice. They were talking to me about what I like, and explaining the different types/categories of food. You can tell they really wanted me to enjoy. Since I am new to Venezuelan cousins, I had so many questions. The owner answered all of them. I ended up getting a vegan arepas along with some Venezuelan cheese. The food was so delicious and extremely fresh. I also had some authentic Venezuelan lemonade with sugar cane. Each table had three sauces to pour onto the arepas and I only tried two and both of them were delicious. The owner and his wife came to check out how I liked the food. The owner told me these recipes are his wife's and grandma's recipes. This place was amazing. Not only the food but the experience as well. I would highly recommend even if you have never tried this cousine before.
Ate here basically as soon as we landed, and it was exactly the pick me up we needed. The arepas were really good, and I wish I had the appetite for more!
There food is AMAZINGGG. But how the hell does it make sense to charge almost $4 for cheese? How does a YoYo cost almost $9 and when you add cheese it turns out to be $14Please make it make sense.Food is good but overpriced on certain things. CHEESE REALLY 2 slices at that ??♀️
Very good food, tastes just like home if you’re Venezuelan and if you’re new, a very delicious menu with plenty to choose from. If you have any questions the staff does a great job explaining and checks up on you to help. The green sauce (salsa de ajo) goes great on everything!
Delicious Venezuelan food, and the best cachapas in NYC!
