Beautiful interior, quiet and peaceful place. Beautifully served sushi. Great Japanese food. The staff is friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed.
Cute design and comfortable seating. We ordered the Seaweed salad, pork gyoza, miso black cod and a bunch of rolls. Overall everything was of great quality and taste. The miso black cos could have used some more sauce though. Would definitely go back.
Sushi! delicious is thy name how I wish that you would never end but alas you come from the sea and you go back to the sea and with that said the rock is the yummiest roll I’ve had in a very long time and it inspired this! Everything they have is yummy n great service.
The review is for the many times I’ve gotten takeout here. Always delicious and fresh. Love the super trio roll, vegetable roll and shrimp tempura roll.
The restaurant interior is beautiful, quiet, and charming. Gave a very comfortable setting to dine in.For the food, I'd say this review is a little unfair because I cannot eat seafood (including their wide menu of sushi) so had to get the chicken teriyaki. It was not bad, chicken was tender but sauce flavor was just OK.I wouldn't say that particular dish was worth the $25, but if you're looking for a more sophisticated Japanese restaurant to try I would definitely check out Bushniwa.
There are plenty of sushi restaurants that exist, but none like Bushniwa. This restaurant is super underrated with amazing fish, quality, and service. It has the quality of the tier one sushi restaurants without the price or snobby vibe.I first fell in love when I ordered their sushi for 2. It was all different cuts, varieties of fish! I was super impressed & I continued to stay impressed.Go support them & highly recommend getting something other than the spicy tuna rolls. :)
Great atmosphere and service. The staff is friendly and they make sure you are taken care of and cater to your needs.The food was fresh and deliciously made. Particularly the sushi rolls were epic. Best I have had it a long time.I definitely recommend this establishment.
Treated myself to takeout sushi after a double serving shift . Omg . ? I really love the quality of this sushi. I can’t go anywhere else.Obviously can’t eat like this on the daily so when I do .. it is very much a treat. :)Salmon isn’t chewy (blehhhhhhh!!!!) and ISNT grey. It’s the right color and consistency (melts in ur mouth).A lot of these Brooklyn places are sus … but not here ! ?
Sushi Small - 8/10Despite being full off of tacos, the boiis mochi cookies and yi fang tea, the minute I ate some sushi I wanted more. The fish was very fresh and had the perfect fish to rice ratio!Matcha Tiramisu - 7/10I did enjoy the matcha tiramisu but wished the “lady fingers” were soaked in matcha latte. The banana puree that came on the side matched the matcha tiramisu surprisingly well.
Forgetful and slow service. The most pitiful tofu I’ve ever had at an Asian restaurant. The tofu had flaky batter and was far to soft to be lacking in flavor the way it did. And the miso soup was not vegan what’s up with that.
