If you’re vegan, this is a great couple blocks and places like Whiskers make sure to give a bunch of options for a good on-the-go vegan meal. Coffee could be better, not gonna lie, but overall, the place is a vibe. Really spacious! Cafes around the area tend to be a little cramped but this joint makes sure you have space to breathe and relax. There seems to be a lack of seating for larger groups but if you come with one person you’ll be fine finding a spot. Wish it was open for a little longer. Really great service, which is expected for the location.
Arguably the worst service I’ve had in 5 years of living in Brooklyn - the flavored latte my friend got was way too sweet and not made with care.If you want the special NYC experience of feeling like you don’t belong and your mere presence has inconvenienced and disgusted the people that work there, stop by!
I’m not vegan and everything i’ve had here is great. They have a good size menu with a variety of gluten free options and a wide selection of really yummy pastries. Kind workers even though not all of them wear masks. Their chocolate chip cookie sandwiches are divine, the perfect cure to a bad day (seriously get one, they’re so good). Portions could be larger especially given the prices but the vibes are good (which I couldn’t tell from the outside but the inside is super cute). solid neighborhood spot
Their food and bake goods are amazing. Hands down some of the best vegan sweets I’ve had.
before the pandemic i was pretty reliant on this spot for great bites with coffee, im not vegan but loved what i had before. but today sadly missed the mark in a major way. 14 dollars for a nearly weightless plate of three sad little pieces of cauliflower over a sparingly small bed of quinoa. asked for the ranch on the side and they didn't do that. i don't know what happened here but im reluctant to return
Solid vegan breakfast spot. Lots of options, nice size menu. Super casual vibe. Eat inside or outside. Baristas make drinks to order while you wait for your food.I’ve been there 10+ times and usually always get the same things: hot pockets, scram and toast, scram and potatoes, chickpea omelette, pancakes with sweet cream, hash browns, pop tarts, rice crispy treats, cronuts and donuts are a must, coconut milk turmeric lattes and possibly some biscuits and gravy. Def recommend sharing aka ordering a bunch of stuff to split, ordering their vegan cheeses and def grab some pastries to go. I usually eyeball whichever looks the freshest instead of choosing my fav. Not everything sells out right away it seems.Miss the little zucchini chunks they used to have in their scram and wish there was a way to make the breakfast food stay hotter longer (esp the chic pea omelette). Also, they changed the hash browns like 5 times and it’s way better now but the potion size is way too small (sharing not recommended).

Awesome neighborhood cafe with INCREDIBLE vegan pastries, baked goods, sandwiches, and breakfast food. I had the asparagus omelette, which was delicious and a great texture.
Usually have a stellar experience here but today my sammy was a bit dry and under seasoned. Staff & environment were phenomenal though.
I feel like it’s become hard to come by a tofu scramble these days and was excited that it was on the menu! Both my tofu scramble and my bagel were excellent portions for the price. So cute inside. Long line of customers so I’m not the only one that loves it.
