Is it convenient to order from the sidewalk through a walk up window?Nope.Do you have to kind of know what a cupcake is before you order?Yup!Is this place amazeballs?HECK YEAH.I don't even like pastries generally but their peach cobbler, apple pie, banana pudding, and red velvet are to effing die for. The staff is always warm and friendly and they are quite helpful.I love this place.

This place is the best, I literally came here after work or during my lunch break to get a cupcake. It’s so yummy ? and moist . 5 stars I would give 10 if I could.

Absolutely delicious cupcakes, and the owner of this bakery is just as sweet!! The only worry I have is tempted to grab one every day

Brooklyn Sweet Spot has the best baked goods in the neighborhood, from cakes, to bars, to banana pudding. They are a community lifeline, offering meals to kids in the pandemic and giving people reasons to celebrate. I called today hoping they were open to pick up a last minute cake. Well, the store was closed, but the baker was in and rang me up quick as can be. Can't say enough good things about their cupcakes and their love for the neighborhood.

The Best Bakery in Brooklyn! Every time I’m in New York I make it a point to come here. Absolutely Delicious!

I have been to this bakery twice and I absolutely love it! The carrot cake is everything, the cupcakes are really good as well. The frosting is not overly sweet, grainy or dry at all. I have tried the white chocolate raspberry, and the red velvet cupcakes and I have no regret. I also tried the carrot cake, there is one cake with three flavor layer (vanilla, red velvet and chocolate) with cream cheese frosting that was everything! The goods are flavorful, fresh, and moist. I totally recommend this place to everyone.I am glad that there is a bakery in the community that is black owned and have quality taste and care. Customer service is wonderful and they answered all of my questions both times that I visited.I suggest going there as early as you can because they run out of pastries really fast. Weekends are their busiest days, so make sure you get there before the shelves are empty! The only thing that I recommend is that the cupcakes are placed in boxes instead of the paper bag.

I had high hopes for this place but was sadly disappointed. There wasn't a lot on display. Less than 15 cupcakes, nothing like the picture. Perhaps covid? Idk. I got the strawberry/banana pudding which was ok in addition to an assortment of cupcakes. They were just ok and didn't taste fresh to me. I love dessert and I'm always excited to try different bakeries. It was probably an off day for them- Saturday at 130pm. I may try again

Let me tell you about my experience. I found this bakery online before my trip to New York. I was not disappointed by any means. I purchased cupcakes, mini pies and cake slices(my favorite). Her cake was moist and super good not overly sweet! Yes we drove all the way home(Ohio) with our Brooklyn Sweet Spot baked goods. I shared with family members and they loved their treats!! We will return. Thank you

It is a special place, where you will find freshly baked cookies and mini cakes that are on another level.

I just happened to find this place while walking around Brooklyn. I got the strawberry banana pudding cupcake and it was AMAZING. I sat down planning on only eating half and saving the rest for my boyfriend when I got home. Luckily I didn’t tell him I had bought a cupcake because I ended up eating the whole thing.
