Great spot! The food was amazing. The pineapple fried rice is delicious and so were the dancing wings! The staff were so sweet and attentive, I loved it here. The drinks were strong too. I will definitely be back!

Brooklyn is flooded with Thai restaurants, "spoiled for choice" doesn't seem an accurate enough depiction of how vast the options are. Born is fine enough I suppose, it hS all of the Thai staples you'd find anywhere, however it doesn't seem to venture into other region of Thailand nor its cuisine. The optio s are safe and after a couple visits, quickly become boring. The prices are equal to the far3, but the fare needs some new perspective.

Born Thai is not an authentic dinning experience as stated by one of the workers that serves there. I ordered a Thai green curry which came out very thin like water instead of a curry consistency, I was told that the establishment was Thai fusion and not authentic Thai. Then why would you have a name such as "Born Thai" when your not trying to bring authentic Thai food, NO THANKS. Nice place horrible food!

Born is a hidden gem for anyone who loves Thai food. The food is delicious and the drinks are strong. The restaurant setting is warm and intimate.

The ambience and atmosphere is very nice. Loved the interior design. Place is very tight though and not enough space between others. The food for a thai place was average. I've been to Thailand and know thai food very well. This was very americanized and didn't feel authentic. I had better thai ice tea(very dilute), curry & fried rice elsewhere. But overall nice place and I do recommend for the experience & if you're in the area (which I was).

Absolutely amazing.I can't say anything more about my experience. Please try the "Better than your EX.

extremely rude to customers

This place is just phenomenal. I live in the neighborhood and love Thai food so I’ve tried basically every other spot around and this place is easily the best, hands down. They have a huge variety of dishes and although at some restaurants this might be seen like a bad thing, every single dish I’ve tried at Born continues to impress me. The food is always made fresh and is clearly high quality, the staff is kind, attentive, and helpful, and whether eating in or taking out, the food is always ready extremely fast. Additionally they offer an array of vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and other dietary restricted options (would definitely recommend the vegetarian duck made from seitan even for non vegetarians). If you like Thai food, or just good food in general, you must try Born!

The food was terrible. The curry puffs had too much pastry. The pineapple fried rice tasted like regular rice with 8 pieces of pineapple. Please stop making recommendations for places you haven't experienced. Instead of a Born Thai it should be called Dead Thai or Gentrified Thai it had no heat and no flavor. Never again!!! No photo just this side eye... cannot photograph poorly prepared food. For $32 should have gotten way better.

Food was great got the chicken basil friend rice , asked for not too spicey and it was perfect
