Instead of ordering in, we decided to go outside for a casual dinner. Black Iron Burger looked like the perfect place, it was steps away from the Bergen street train station and had a simple menu.When you walk in you seat yourself, use the QR code for menu options and someone comes to take your order.We ordered the Black Iron Burgers and Cajun Fries. For the drinks we orders the Notorious and a like margarita.The burger was delicious and juicy, the fries were also good and I ordered some spicy Mayo on the side for some extra flavor. The drinks we very strong, so there was no need to get more than one.My only note is that we could’ve used some more fries, and the dessert ert menu is also just one item. Not many options to choose from there.They also add and 18% gratuity to all bills but there isn’t much customer service here.

$12 for truffle fries that come in a container smaller than the palm of my hand and is half empty. Cheese isn’t melted. Burger is over cooked. Bread is soggy. What a disgusting disappointment.

A very sad burger. I ordered the turkey burger with all the toppings - immediately when I saw the burger I thought “did they get my order right?”, since the patty looks more like a chicken fried steak than a turkey burger. The patty has a deep-fried look to it and the consistency is like oily bread. The only flavor to the patty is salt and seasoning, none of that turkey flavor I hope for when eating a turkey burger. The toppings were actually nice, fresh lettuce and tomato and tasty pickles, which is why I gave two stars instead of one. The fries tasted like cardboard. I certainly will not be ordering from here again.
If you are looking for delicious burgers and tasty fries look no further than Black Iron. The food was fresh and quickly prepared. They use fresh ingredients and we appreciated the customized burger option. Truffle fries were divine. Our server was meticulous in a precise yet curtious way. If you like good service, they take it seriously here. The atmosphere was lively although there were not too many people when we arrived. The bar got busier later into the evening. Their cocktails are also exquisite. This is a cute little spot were you can get a hearty meal that serves as a jumping off point for the next leg in your nightly journey. Or just go there for lunch, either way it's goid!
I didn't like my breaded chicken burger because is like eating a big chicken nugget ?.They add the tip automatically without the consent of the costumer.Service is slow, loud music and small place.
Burgers are spectacular, the sweet loaded fries are a must get! Staff is kind, music is great and the place looks comfortable.
The drinks and food was amazing. Marlon our bartender was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive. I would give this 10 stars if I could. If you like burgers, drinks and a good time this place is the place to go.
