A little loud (couldn't hold a conversation at the table without straining) and tad bit crowded. Good for people watching. Better suited to a younger crowd for the establishment's energy and vibe.Food in my humble opinion is a ½ step above marginal at best. Yet, all in all may give it one more visit before "writing anything in stone".
The jerk wings were good but the food was terrible. Good drinks and Ashley the server is the best.
Went here with a coworker for their birthday quick bite. They enjoyed their oxtails. I had the escovich fish. It tasted nothing like how it usually taste. It was more savory with tomato sauce. The fish overall was good. But my black rice was hard and cold but the server was helpful and swap out for some fresh hot rice. Will try the place again.
A Brooklyn gem. You wouldn't believe this establishment had so much vibes contained within its walls. I arrived and was seated. It is strongly recommend to have reservations.The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The word was presented well and quite tasty. Not expensive. The menu has traditional west Indian foods.Do visit!
Incredible service, food, ambience, vibe etc. The owners we’re around during my visit and they were hospitable, kind, warm and treated my family so kind as we celebrated my sister’s birthday. THANK YOU BK9 we’ll support this blk owned biz again and again
Took my friend here when she came to visit from California. Food and Dj was amazing. Servers extremely friendly and full of personality. If you are looking for a place to eat but, have a club feeling definitely go here on a Friday night. My friend said there's no place like BK9 in Cali .Meal: Escovitch fish, black rice , and Mac and cheese (Mac and cheese could be better). Overall food was good.
The food was delicious, cocktails had a nice kick. Music was great. Great service. Ashley was really nice.

My first time here with friends and let me just say... it should really be a crime as to how good the food is ????♀️. Everything was well seasoned, prepared, and came fresh out the kitchen hot. They had good flavors for the mimosas too. Definitely coming back!
