Charging $9.50 for day old crossaints just doesn't feel good. If your lucky and get a fresh one. It's worth it. Now I feel I just wasted my money
You can’t walk by this place without noticing the enticing smell of freshly baked bread and pastries. Super friendly and welcoming people. A warm tomato danish is my go to for savory and the almond croissant for my sweet tooth.
We were walking on Smith and smelled something delicious. Decided to stop in and picked up a yuzu tart and tahini cookie. The soft filling of the tart had the perfect amount of sweetness, with a nice bitter touch from the yuzu rind; the shell was buttery and crunchy. The cookie was fragrant, with a wonderfully soft but chewy texture; good balance of sugar and salt. We’ll definitely be back!
definitely deserves its name. baguettes we got were dried and impossible to eat. dough was impossible to chew. something went definitely wrong on that baking day and batch. will never go back there and highly recommend to taste the bread in the spot.

I only tasted the Croissant and the chocolate Croissant and they were really great ! I definitely recommend however it is a bit pricey...
Spectacular neighborhood bakery with the best breakfast sandwich ever. Super friendly staff as well :)
It had been a moment since our last visit ? We were fans of the croissant with brie and ham. Purchased two sandwiches and two slices of cake and headed out to work.Screech! Only to discover the sandwiches were horrible! The bacon tasted spoiled on both sandwiches and one croissant was burnt. The cake was border line dry. Unless one doused it with a cup of Joe, or tea. What a grave disappointment. Waste of money, time and a painful blow to a once upon a time special, grab and go breakfast spot.Thank you.
I live right by this location and it is a struggle to not buy a croissant every time I smell the pastries baking. All of the items I’ve purchased are delightful. The sourdough is crusty and chewy, the chocolate almond croissants are airy and buttery, the brioche is soft & sweet, and the ciabatta is great for sandwiches. The guy who works the register is nice and friendly. I like using the too good to go program here as well
Way too expensive. I'm french and these prices are laughable given that for the most part, their baked goods are just staples (their prices go beyond the already huge markup on any decent bread and pastries in NY/the US...) Also, while breads, croissants and other "viennoiseries" are well done, the quiches are very disappointing, and their pastries at $10 a piece are ridiculous versus other legit French bakeries.
